Today was all about spreading a little holiday cheer! ✨ We loved sharing our classic Australian fruit mince tarts with all of our wonderful F&F subscribers. These tarts were always center stage at family Christmas celebrations while growing up in Australia. We’re grateful that we could share these nostalgic treats with the F&F family this holiday season. After fermenting at room temperature since 4am, our starter is happy and full of air bubbles. Time to incorporate it into tonight’s doughs! We are mixing up capitol country and polenta loaves for our subscriber bake tomorrow!

Today’s Baker’s Choice loaf was seedfest! 🎉 This loaf is country dough with toasted pumpkin, sunflower, sesame and linseeds. This lineup of seeds adds a ton of rich flavor and nutrients. We couldn’t help but keep a loaf for ourselves to dunk in our soup on this dreary night.

The doughs for our subscribers have been mixed and are ready for bulk fermentation. They will spend the next 4 hours fermenting in the tubs before being divided, shaped and left to rise overnight. We are excited to bake them off in the morning! 😀
