Shop Jobo will remain closed until further notice. i think we can all agree that online school (and even just school in general) is taking up everyone’s time and energy, however, when summer rolls around and i’ve got more time on my hands we will get the ball rolling again. when the time comes, there will be a massive sale on loads of items (new and old) to try and clear out some stock to make room for new products. thank you to all who have supported me and my wee business and i can’t wait to get back to it asap! keep safe dudes 🤎 in the mean time if you want to keep up with my creative endeavours, follow # # #

i’m just popping on to update you on what’s happening with the shop at the moment. as you may know i have temporarily closed everything (apart from the £1 charity donation) at the moment. this is to allow time for me to improve and reflect on my first few weeks as a business. this includes creating new products, goodie bags, photographs and much much more. thank you to everyone who is supporting me on my journey by sharing my posts, buying my pieces and even just following me. i urge every single person reading this to support the black lives matter movement. sign petitions, share the VITAL information that is circulating and donate anything you can. silence is complicit and staying ‘neutral’ is siding with the oppressor. do not silence black voices. and lastly, happy pride month🏳️‍🌈🥰

George Floyd was murdered by Minneapolis police officers on May 25 2020. He was murdered over a counterfeit $20 bill. He was murdered and his baby was left without a daddy. Let that sink in. A FALSE piece of money was deemed more valuable than this innocent man's life. This is only one of the hundreds of instances where black people have been murdered by racist bigots like Derek Chauvin who kneeled on George's neck until he died.

You cannot stand back and stay silent. You cannot choose to be ’neutral’. You cannot disregard your privilege as a white person and turn a blind eye to racism because that in it's self, is racist. Reflect on yourself and change. If you have done wrong in the past apologise, learn and grow.

My aim for choosing a charity that supports ethnic minorities is simple; raise awareness, spread the word and help bring justice to those whose lives have been affected by the racist society that are still living in today.

Sign petitions- it's free. Share a post and spread awareness- it's free. If you can spare a few pounds, give it somewhere that needs it. My Lucky Dip is available on my depop (link in bio) and there are a multitude of go fund me pages that would benefit extensively from even the smallest of gesture.

I don't have all of the answers. You may not either, however, you have a voice. If you are white, you have privilege- use that to make a change! I will have a number of helpful sources available on my page under the charity of the month highlight that I strongly advise you to read. Educate yourself. Do not ignore the problems because THAT is what's killing people.

I would also like to say that I would love to donate 100% of the proceeds to a good cause however, I need to cover the cost of things like packaging and materials. I hope you can understand 🤍
