Senior Exploration Manager - Hybrid job | West Africa
MUST BE DRIVEN TO EXPLORE AND DISCOVER!!!

Responsibilities
• Leading and embedding a culture of safety and endeavor within geological team;
• Developing science based systematic exploration programs to deliver key outcomes and associated budgets;
• Interpretation, evaluation and reporting of exploration results;
• Mentoring younger geologists;
• Managing multiple external contractors, service providers and drill companies
• Working with the Country Managers to manage sampling standards, personnel, budgets, accounting, land access and community liaison;

Qualifications
• 10+ experience in Iron Ore exploration;
• Driven to explore and discover;
• Self-starter and results-focused;
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage people and resources;
• An awareness of the importance of ESG;
• Enjoy the challenges of remote field work with ability to work autonomously in a small-team environment;
• BSc in Geology with additional postgraduate qualifications desirable;
• Detail-oriented and highly organized;
• Knowledge of Orogenic Gold systems would be highly regarded;
• Exposure to Micromine and ArcGIS software;
• French language skills desirable.
