Today, we'd like to introduce a beautiful location and an amazing family! This is in Crete Greece. Laura- the mother of these cuties and the creator of this guide- has been traveling for the past year and a half with her family and they have been all over the world! They spent some time in Crete and learned all about the best things to do and see in Crete. It is a beautiful island off the coast of mainland Greece full of history and natural beauty. This guide will be available when we launch February 1st. But between now and then we will be introducing 24 more locations so stay tuned!

Hi there, I'm Mariah! One of the founders of Fernway. We are so excited to share what we are building with you!
I started my full time travel journey with my family almost 2 years ago in January 2020. I quickly learned how much time, effort and stress went into researching locations to live in and explore with our young family. I found there were much more resources available online for single nomads and retirees, but much less for families. As I reached out to other families traveling, I found they had the same frustrations.

A few of us decided to join together to create a resource that would take away the overwhelm and stress of living and traveling abroad as a family. Thus- Fernway was born.

Our mission at Fernway is three fold:
1. To create a place where people can go to get accurate, up to date information about living in specific, international locations. Do to this, we have created informative, detailed guides about specific locations written by people LIVING in those locations with families. They are thorough, detailed, and cover just about anything you'd need/want to know when moving to a new location abroad.
2. To create connections between you- the families who WANT to move to a specific location-and people with young kids who ARE currently living in those locations. These are our location ambassadors. We offer a space for you to set up a call with an ambassador currently living in the location you want to know more about!
3. To create a community of people with a similar desire to create something different for their families by experiencing other parts of the world. We are here to show you that it's easier than you think.

Our official launch date is February 1st, 2022. For now, we have this amazing Facebook group that will be packed FULL of goodies. Different families going live and talking to you about what inspired them to sell it all and travel, others talking about how to overcome your barriers, travel hacks and tricks, giveaways, inspiration, and so much more. Come be a part of this community and learn what full time travel as a family can really look like.
