IN PHOTOS: Day 1 and Day 2 of the 5 day Inset. It was conducted on Jan 24 and 25, 2024 at Simona National High School. The said training was attended by the LGU of Brgy. San Isidro headed by Brgy. Captain Hon. Vivian R. Yupangco.
Furthermore, the first day of the inset was spent in discussing procurement and the process of acquiring assets conducted by Sir Rafael V. Lopiga, school custodian. It was followed by the talk of mam Pauline Rañada who explained about the MOOE. In the afternoon, our guest speaker, sir Jefjef Domingo focused his talk about Research Study.

On the second day, our energetic Principal mam Florabel F. Hilario talked about the Promotion process. She encourage the teachers to study and do research study for for the promotion.

This initiative aims to provide learners with the opportunity to engage in independent silent reading of their preferred materials.

It is designed to strengthen the foundational, social, and other relevant skills necessary to actualize the intent of the basic education curriculum by focusing on the development of learner's reading, critical thinking, analytical, and writing skills.

Drop Everything and Read! 📖

Simona National High School joins the whole nation in implementing NLRP - National Learning Recovery Program. This will be done every Friday of this month - January 12, 19 and 26, 2023.

This activity is in line with the implementation of the National Reading Program as an integral component of the National Learning Recovery Program (NLRP), the Department of Education implements Catch-up Fridays.

Starting this January 12, 2024, through the Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) Day, this initiative aims to provide learners with the opportunity to engage in independent silent reading of their preferred material.

Catch-up Fridays is designed to strengthen the foundational, social, and other relevant skills necessary to actualize the intent of the basic education curriculum by focusing on the development of learner's reading, critical thinking, analytical, and writing skills.

In view of DepEd Memo 671 s.2023, this year's Reading Month is scheduled on October 26, 2023 in celebration of Pambansang Buwan at Araw ng Pagbasa (PBAP). This is also in celebration of English Month with its theme- "PAGBASA: Pag-asa sa MATATAG na Kinabukasan."

The 2-day activities were very successful. Special thanks to all the teachers that helped a lot in making this beautiful activity.

Simona NHS believes in the importance of family for the total development of an individual. Families boost the confidence and make everyone feel loved. They are the source of our strength who keep us strong so we become better person.

To acknowledge the importance of family, a simple yet memorable Family Day activity was done last Dec. 7, 2023 at Simona covered court headed by our very supportive principal ma'am Florabel Hilario together with the faculty and staff. The said activity was packed with different collaborative games, gift giving, cake and gift raffle.

We are grateful for the presence and the for the gift items from our LGU's headed by our Honorable Brgy. Captain of San Isidro Captain Vivian R. Yupango together with councilor Arky Manning and the rest of the brgy councilors.

We also appreciate the effort of of the members of our SPTA for helping the school in the preparation of this activity.

We would like also to congratulate our ESP department chaired by ma'am Mariafia T. Panis who organized this momentous event.

IN PHOTOS: SNHS Christmas Gift Giving - a joint outreach program of Project LOVE and Project SMILE. It was successfully done last Dec. 6, 2023 at Sampalucan, San Isidro, Taytay, Rizal. The activity aimed to share toys and clothings to less fortunate kids and family of the above mentioned community.

Special thanks to the LGU of Brgy. San Isidro headed by Captain Vivian R. Yupangco for gracing the activity. And for lending us a vehicle that brought us to the place.

We are overjoyed seeing those smiles on their faces as they circle around to choose the toys and clothings they want. These are little things but packed with love. Indeed, the true essence of christmas was seen and felt in that very moment which money cannot buy. For this, our hearts are full.

Simona National High School's Family Day 2023 is a wonderful opportunity for teachers, parents, and students to become closer. Because of this event, we have the opportunity to reconnect, refocus, and spend meaningful time together.

Day 3 of the conduct of Career Guidance Program.
It was held last November 22, 2023 at Simona National High School. It was attended by our grade 10 students. The said activity was facilitated by sir Jezreel D. Antolihao, grade 10 adviser.

Today, 23rd November 2023, Career Guidance program on its 4th day continues as SNHS grade 10 students obediently attended the orientation.

It was successfully done through the presence of the representatives from other SHS who effortly gave and shared their expertise about the Senior high journey.
