Blogging! Our relationship with nature is important as another relationship because when we take care of it , it takes care of us. I learned that my Aunt Jean actually planted the fig tree. My brother attempted to cut it down a few years ago but it had a mind of its own to serve purpose and bare fruit. So, let us do the same. Enjoy the weekend, grace and peace!

I know that I have been talking about the Walmart in Alabama. By the grace of God, I hope to have that opportunity soon. I came across a blog about getting out there and starting vlogging. The article said don’t be shy about it; if someone asks you to put your camera away, move on to a different location. I like the sound of that; don’t give up. Cross Bags! The scripture that comes to mind is, "Let us cross over to the other side." Mark 4: 35 scenes. The journey to the other side came with some storms, and where was our Lord, asleep on the pillow? Let me tell you, honey, if we were there, we would be trying to wake him up, too. Therefore, let us continue to show up in those secret places that give us strength for the journey of the lifestyle of heaven on earth.
Twice As Nice
Having to do this video a second time, I thought of my first filming project. The grace that I will need to press into everything new. Often, we shy away from the new things that come with the unknown and cling to the familiar. We are concerned about the outcome and how we may look to others. I am coming to the point of sticking to the truth that it is more important to do what He tells us and wants us to do than the outcome itself. To be our wonderful selves, we must take the whole of the new. We live and move in Him and have our being, Acts 17:28. Grace and Peace! Enjoy the Weekend!

Getting Ready to Hand Sew!
My biggest concern is that the main fabric is sheer fabric. Yet, at the same time, it will contribute to the experience of the seamstress life before sewing machines. There are many types of sheer fabric, and I am still determining which one I work with in this sewing project. I have learned that there are two main types of sheer fabric: one is from China, and the other is from Egypt. Then, of course, there are synthetic and those in-between types. Have a blessed week!

Yes, I did! I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. As you can see, I finally got the fabric from Walmart. There were two sunflower fabrics on the shelf. I'm thankful I got them.
I just finished the dress this morning. I started working to finish it on Friday. I have been focusing on editing a screenplay because of the deadline I set for myself: next Friday. However, as I always say, showing up in our secret places is essential for us and those around us. We learn to be well-balanced in one, two, or three places.
As I finished the dress, the idea of sewing it by hand came to mind. I want to experience the lifestyle of a seamstress before a sewing machine. I have stitched a quilt by hand, which is common even today, but not clothing. That is my next sewing project, and I look forward to the experience. Yes, you can! I will never forget a brother in Christ's word: "I don't want anybody in my family to sit around talking about what they could have or would have done."
