FREEDOM & JOY IN CHRIST
12 students & 3 leaders traveled to Kigoma, Tanzania to serve alongside Hope of the Nations this May. Our hearts were changed to say the least. It is hard to write in a caption what Christ did in this week.. door to door evangelism, quiet time with Jesus on the lake, kids club, beautiful worship in a church made of sticks & palm tree leaves, people genuinely giving their lives to Jesus for the first time, volleyball, learning swahili, jamming 15 people into a 7 person car, being 5 feet from a zebra, laughter, Bible skits, dum-dums, visiting new church plants, witnessing the faithful hearts of Tanzanian brothers & sisters in Christ, mosquito bites, pastors being poured into at a conference, palm trees, loving SO many kids, being humbled, God providing, Spirit moving, Jesus redeeming. Hope of the Nations, thank you, thank you! & Thank you most of all to Jesus for this incredible life!
Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. If you say, âBut we knew nothing about this,â does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay everyone according to what they have done?
Proverbs 24:11-12

We have to say goodbye to Central College team from Iowa. It was a world wind trip for sure. Thank you for all your help with the conference and in the villages. Karibu Tena. ďżźxo
A few photos from the last two days! Tomorrow is our last full day in a village. Opportunities to have kids club and seminars! Prayers for the Gospel to go out and seeds to be planted. Praise God for the work He is doing!
DAY 1 in the villages. Went to Kamala & Mkungwe. Door to door evangelism & kids club. We are tired but full because of how God is providing. Please pray as we head into 3 more days of sharing the Gospel in dark places and loving LOTS of kids. We trust Jesus and are praying for him to keep building his church and raising up his followers as we share the Word of God. It is no doubt that the harvest is plentiful!
YESU ANAKUPENDA! (Jesus loves you)
Just a glimpse at the last 2 days in Kigoma. God continues to provide. Prayers as we prep to go to villages Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday to do door to door evangelism and dramas.. that God would equip us, that we would be faithful and bold and wise and gentle, that the Spirit would move, that we would present the Gospel clearly, and for the hearts of the people we will encounter! Thanks! God is Good all the time!
We are in Kigoma, Tanzania! Settling at the house and going to help prep food for the Pastor's conference this afternoon! God's creation is beautiful and He is providing!
This small but mighty crew from Central College Campus Ministries is off bright & early headed to Tanzania to share the Good News of Jesus Christ through Hope For The Nations Ministry!
ALL MINISTRY WORSHIP 2023
What a way to wrap up the semester! All glory to God for the 5 men who proclaimed their faith in Jesus Christ this past Sunday.
My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not take the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God then there was no need for Christ to die. Galatians 2:20-21
Thank you Jesus for tonight!đşđĽâď¸
If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majestyâs hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.â Daniel 3:17-18
6 hours of God's Word, hearing stories from the church in Iran, & praying for the Gospel to go to ALL nations of the world. Thank you for bringing us verse by verse through the book of Jonah. It is so much more than a children's story about a guy getting swallowed by a fishđł
Just a few of the MANY takeaways:
â˘We are Jonah
â˘It is possible for us to receive the mercy of God yet resist the mission of God
â˘We like our comforts & we lack concern for others
â˘We need Jesus
When the sun rose, God appointed a scorching east wind, and the sun beat down on the head of Jonah so that he was faint. And he asked that he might die and said, âIt is better for me to die than to live.â But God said to Jonah, âDo you do well to be angry for the plant?â And he said, âYes, I do well to be angry, angry enough to die.â And the Lord said, âYou pity the plant, for which you did not labor, nor did you make it grow, which came into being in a night and perished in a night. And should not I pity Nineveh, that great city, in which there are more than 120,000 persons who do not know their right hand from their left, and also much cattle?â Jonah 4:8-11
Not the best pic but definitely a great night. Last time at Urban Bike Food Ministry for the semester. Praise God for these amazing students, all the volunteers at UBFM, joy and laughter during the night, getting to serve and notice people that are often forgotten by society, & most of all for Jesus Christ who empowers us to love people & who deserves all the glory & credit!
SPRING BREAK 2023
Campus ministries headed two directions: Annville, KY & Staten Island, NY. We worked alongside Grace Covenant Ministries & Project Hispitality. We praise God for the work accomplished & the opportunity to share our faith with a hurting world... & for all the laughter along the wayđ Thank you Jesus Christ for all the ways you provided & for the work you are doing around the world. We know that apart from you we can do nothing.
âCome to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle & humble in heart, & you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.â Matthew 11:28-30

Men's Retreat 2023 | axe-throwing, Chick-fil-A, camp, games, BBQ, worship, prayer, Word of God, feet washing, signs, feet washing.. great weekend!
He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, âLord, are you going to wash my feet?â Jesus replied, âYou do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.â âNo,â said Peter, âyou shall never wash my feet.â Jesus answered, âUnless I wash you, you have no part with me.â âThen, Lord,â Simon Peter replied, ânot just my feet but my hands and my head as well!âJesus answered, âThose who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.â For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not every one was clean. When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. âDo you understand what I have done for you?â he asked them. "You call me âTeacherâ and âLord,â and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one anotherâs feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed. John 13:6-17

Christmas Candlelight Service 2022đ
Praying that you would know the depth & riches of God's love for you, the lengths that God went through to rescue us, & the gravity of what God did when He sent His one & only Son to live among us & die the death that we rightfully deserve.
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on Davidâs throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. Isaiah 9:6-7

Camp Fun Night 2022
Loving on kids, eating hot dogs, singing about Jesus, making Gospel bracelets, freezing in Perkin's, remembering what God has given us, laughing... too many blessings to even count. We are grateful God.
One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesusâ feet and thanked himâand he was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, âWere not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?â Then he said to him, âRise and go; your faith has made you well.â Luke 17:15-19
Worship zumba, painting with Kendi from a worship gathering, & clean up at Robert's Creek!
