2020 sure didn't come without it's challenges. I've learned to take any obstacles that come my way and turn them into a learning experiences so that I can overcome them.

It's not always easy and victory doesn't always come in the timeframe I want, but when I surrender and accept that I'm supposed to be in the situation that I'm in to learn (so long as I start doing something about it and don't stay stuck), things always seem to work themselves out.❤️

If you have a goal that keeps coming to mind and you can't shake it....Take "Inspired Action" to get closer to your goal. You'll be amazed at the ideas that come to you when you start acting on your dreams.

This is the type of action you will take when you get an intuition that something feels right. It’s similar to when you have an urge to call your mom or you’re feeling a strong need to buy that certain self help book. For me, I always get inspired as I read self help books. Right in the middle of reading, I will randomly get inspired to take a certain step towards growing my business. I will pick up the phone and call someone or I will work on my blog.

Your intuition is your best money maker. The next time you notice a continued idea that won't leave your mind, this time instead of thinking "One Day"....Why not take some "Inspired Action"? Start googling your idea. Start messaging people and asking questions about it.

You'll be amazed how that idea can actually start turning into your dreams sooner than you think!

I had to learn the hard way to grow my roots first to see my business blossom.

When I first started back in 2001, I was ignorance on fire! I flew out of the gate and enrolled like crazy even thought I had no idea what I was doing. I called anyone and everyone to introduce them to my new venture. It worked! Kind of.

The thing was... I didn't explain things correctly and had no idea how to lead a team. Because of that, people started cancelling their accounts. I thought I was doing great but couldn't understand why I was losing people.

I had to learn that it's ok to take my business step by step in the beginning so I can learn this industry inside and out. Definitely don't wait too long. Get out there and learn as you go. But NEVER stop learning. Learning is KEY!

Also if you're not getting the results you deserve, it's ok to stop and take a look at what you're currently doing. Maybe it's time to pivot and try a new strategy so you can grow new roots that will stick for years to come!

I was in Dollar Tree last night and there was a lady and two kids behind me in the LONG line. ⁣

One was a big kid, one was a toddler. The bigger one had a pack of glow sticks and the baby was screaming for them so the Mom opened the pack and gave him one, which stopped his tears.⁣

He walked around with it smiling, but then the bigger boy took it and the baby started screaming again. ⁣
⁣
Just as the Mom was about to fuss at the older child, he bent the glow sticks and handed it back to the baby. ⁣

As we walked outside at the same time, the baby noticed that the stick was now glowing and his brother said ⁣
⁣
"I had to break it so you could get the full effect from it." ⁣
⁣
I almost ran because I could hear God saying to me, "I had to break you to show you why I created you. ⁣
⁣
You had to go through it so you could fulfill your purpose." ⁣
⁣
That little baby was happy just swinging that "unbroken" glow stick around in the air because he didn't understand what it was created to do which was "glow".⁣
⁣
There are some people who will be content just "being" but some of us that God has chosen, we have to be "broken". ⁣
⁣
We have to get sick. We have to lose a job. We go through divorce. We have to bury our spouse, parents, best friend, or our child because, in those moments of desperation, God is breaking us but when the breaking is done, then we will be able to see the reason for which we were created.⁣

So when you see us glowing just know that we have been broken but healed by his Grace and Mercy!!!⁣

Do you ever feel like you're driving in circles trying to get your business off the ground? You might need to hit the brakes a bit and ask yourself if you're really doing what you love.

I used to hate prospecting people that I knew and total strangers. I'm such an introvert and it didn't sit right with me.

I finally had to put the brakes on and have a talk with myself because talking to people that weren't interested about my business wasn't working.

Things are a lot different now..Whew! I always love when people come to me asking what I do because it's a natural conversation.

If you are feeling like you're spinning your wheels and not making progress. It might be time to take another path. 🥰

This is Jim Thorpe. Look closely at the photo, you can see that he's wearing different socks and shoes. This wasn't a fashion statement. It was the 1912 Olympics, and Jim, an American Indian from Oklahoma represented the U.S. in track and field. On the morning of his competitions, his shoes were stolen. Luckily, Jim ended up finding two shoes in a garbage can. That's the pair that he's wearing in the photo. But one of the shoes was too big, so he had to wear an extra sock. Wearing these shoes, Jim won two gold medals that day. This is a perfect reminder that you don't have to resign to the excuses that have held you back. So what if life hasn't been fair?
