Matt is sitting up and eating!!! Thank you all so much for the prayers and well wishes!!! 😎

He’s doing a lot better than he was but he still has a road ahead so keep the prayers coming 🙏🏻🙏🏻

We have so much to be thankful for ❤️❤️

What a crazy last 3 days… I’ve had many folks reach out about Matt’s Surgery and couldn’t respond because there were too many unknowns and we had no answers. So here the quick story:

Matt’s below the knee amputation was a success and other than some pain at the wound, is healing.

After surgery in the recovery room, he threw a blood clot causing a 100% blockage of his LAD artery in his heart (aka The widow maker). As soon as telemetry picked up the MI (heart attack), a response team immediately prepped for a Catheterization and within a short period after, a Cardiologist removed the clot and stented the artery. Also during the Cath, dye was needed to view blockages and that of course, stressed his kidneys to near renal failure.

The Jefferson Wash Twp Cath Team saved his life once again.

He was for the 3rd time in a a few years, on life support systems.

I’m happy to report, He is currently off of all life support systems (Ventilator and Heart Balloon pump), kidney function is trending in the right direction, and doing way better than he was 24hrs ago.

In Summary: Matt is a fu***ng Viking

Thank you Jefferson Washington twp for doing what you all do so well 💕

Eventually Matt will be off to rehab and fitted for his prosthetic. Then he will be able to stand, walk, drive, and live his life like before once again 😎
