The Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for Maui County was last coordinated by the Maui Economic Development Board, Inc. (MEDB) in 2016. As mandated by the Economic Development Administration (EDA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce, a Strategy Committee was formed to develop, guide, and review the CEDS process. As required, MEDB enlisted a cross-section of all major interests in the community to take advantage of local skills and resources in strategy formulation and implementation.
