1 week in England , 1 week in Ireland. So many beautiful memories on this honeymoon so far. Mostly good, a scary accident on a bike yesterday in Killarney National Park but I’m on the mend.. nothing broken, just a little bump on the head, a bit bruised.. and we are not letting it spoil our adventures! Doing fantastic and excited to spend our last few days in Ireland.

She was the Taylor Swift of my generation... and I know I'm aging myself, ya'll, but I don't give a what. So many influences in my life from a very early age. At 12 years old, I fell in love with Debbie Gibson, dancing around my room singing and dreaming! She wrote her entire debut album HERSELF... at age 16. I took a drive down memory lane today...and there I was dancing around again and singing along with a gigantic smile on my face. Music is everything!

I've never been more proud to be a woman in country music than I was tonight. To have the honor of sharing the stage with SO many phenomenally talented women was one of the highlights of my career so far. Trisha Yearwood, congratulations on receiving your award for all you do for Save the Music and for so many other countless ways you give to us all. It was my absolute joy to honor you tonight. Congrats as well to Mickey Guyton and Leslie Fram for being such fierce advocates for music and the women who make it. Thank you, Save the Music, for shining a spotlight on the importance of keeping music education in our schools. We make a difference together.

Day 8 of the St Jude’s children hospital’s 60 mile April challenge was a walk in 47 degrees and rain. Red faces, freezing yet still determined! This week I walked at least two miles a day, some days 2 1/2. I walked alone quite a bit and have been able to spend quality time on walks with my fiance, my dad and my best friend. Starting week 2 today and am so thankful to those of you who donated. We are only in week one so if you’d like to support me, please donate using the code in comments. Happy Easter weekend everyone. Great weekend in Hawks Cay! The shows were fun. Swimming with dolphins was the an incredible experience. I saw a manatee by the dock this morning before leaving! Thanks to Mary Loving for orchestrating a wonderful set of shows in a spectacular setting! Hope to be back!
