Same hair, different install🤪

I ordered this packaging because I want the best experience for my babes but when the boxes came they were complete TRASH😭⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I spent almost 300 dollars for 50 boxes and the quality was horrible! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They printed my pictures wrong, the boxes were cheap cardboard so when I folded them they started to rip, and they didn’t put the glossy cover I paid for on it😤⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I was pi**ed! But I try not to stay focused on that because we still have to get things done. Currently I’m still looking for packaging that meets my standards. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When you detangle your hair extensions I would hope you are using a denman brush or a wide tooth comb. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Both of these are great for detangling because they won’t pull out your hair or put pressure on the wefts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Always make sure your hair is wet before you start detangling because doing it while it’s dry will cause shedding and breakage. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Be sure to hold your hair and start from the bottom to prevent tugging on the wefts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Curly hair tip:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I always recommend air drying your raw hair but if you are in a hurry then a diffuser would be the best choice. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A diffuser is an attachment you put on your blow dryer, it acts as a middle man so the heat from the blow dryer won’t damage your extensions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you use the diffuser it will dry your hair faster and prevents it from becoming frizzy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

But I still recommend air drying your bundles to get the best durability out of them.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Whewww! Lord knows I’ve been working on so much stuff behind the scenes but this to do list right here is kicking my ass🤣

This week has been soooo stressful and I can’t wait for it to be over! I wanted to give up a lot of times this week especially when it came to establishing more business credit😭
But after calming myself down and getting help from my mentor group I’m finally halfway done with everything.

I know I always say treat your bundles like you would treat your real hair but it’s a different story when it comes to oiling your bundles. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When you put oil on them your bundles absorb the oil and it makes them clump up. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Oils are heavy and they weigh down your hair. Now I’m not saying you can’t use any at all just use it in moderation. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you do put too much oil in your hair you can wash it out or use dry shampoo(it will lift the oils). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Sometimes lace can be itchy but still you shouldn’t scratch it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Scratching your lace can damage your hair and the lace, If you scratch too hard you will poke a hole in your lace.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Once you poke a hole, your frontal/closure will start shedding bad! And the last thing you need is your lace looking patchy🥴 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

To avoid your hair being itchy under your lace make sure your hair is clean, fully dry, And make sure the lace is secure(if it’s not secure the lace will move and scratch your skin). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Sleeping with wet hair is bad because it causes your hair to tangle and damage the wefts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It’s also hard to brush when you wake up due to the hair matting/knotting up, meaning you will have to be firmer than usual to detangle the hair which puts pressure on the wefts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You have to be extremely careful if this happens because you could pull your hair out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here are a few things to look for when trying to get quality lace:
💓Small knots for a natural appearance
💓Lace needs to be thin
💓Make sure the hairline isn’t thick
💓Make sure the hair isn’t stiff

A beautiful curl pattern will always do it for me! It has minimal shedding and can last for a long time if the maintenance is kept up on it.

I can’t express how important it is to know about raw hair BEFORE you purchase.
I use to buy raw hair and guess what? I don’t have any bundles left because I didn’t know how to take care of them.
I did my research and started my luxury hair brand💪🏾 so it’s only right that I make sure my babes are put on game🤑

Raw hair is very beautiful but if you fall short on taking care of it you will damage it.
Your bundles need to be washed at least every 2 weeks since it’s not getting nutrients from the scalp anymore.

We all know the endless struggles when it comes to not knowing about raw hair.
Damaging your hair because you used the wrong products, blow drying your hair which caused the heat to damage them and reduce lifespan, spraying excessive products on them which made them get stiff, etc.
