14th September 2021 is an important day for our country as it is the day that the 76th UN General Assembly is going to be held. In this UN General Assembly, an important decision on who should represent Myanmar as the permanent UN representative will be made. This will also decide who should be recognised as Myanmar’s government by the international community. Therefore, GMSR urges the Myanmar citizens, Myanmar diaspora communities across the world and the supporters of Democracy, to take part in our activities on advocating for the recognition of the permanent UN representative for the voice of Myanmar citizens and the recognition of NUG as the only government of Myanmar in the UN. There will be worldwide coordinated rallies during the weekend of 11th-12th September and the following countries namely: 🇺🇸United States, 🇬🇧United Kingdom, 🇮🇹Italy, 🇯🇵Japan, 🇰🇷South Korea, 🇧🇪Belgium, 🇨🇦Canada, 🇦🇺Australia, 🇫🇮Finland, 🇳🇴Norway, 🇩🇰Denmark, 🇸🇪Sweden, 🇹🇼Taiwan, 🇳🇿New Zealand and 🇮🇱Israel are currently taking part.
