Sadly news hits Belgium again,
In the village of Strépy-Bracquegnies, a car ran into a carnival group that was preparing for a parade. At least six people were killed. Ten people are in critical condition in a hospital and 27 people were slightly injured.
After 2 years of strict rules around covid-19, this should be a happy day, unfortunately this was not the case.
My condolences go out to the families and friends of the victims as well as to the entire carnival world.

Unfortunately, it has once again become clear that there are huge holes in the Belgian justice system.
A child of 4 years, brash, playful, smiley, still a whole future ahead of him, is gone.
Because 1 specific person decided this. A person with a criminal history, a person convicted of acts of child abuse. A person who, according to the judicial system, has served his sentence, who still needed help and who would have been locked up but still runs around free. This person has made another victim.
I know that normally as a "miss" I am not allowed to post these kinds of messages. But I do this anyway,
I do this to make it clear that also we do not agree with the current state of affairs.
Government, law inforcements, justice, please open your eyes! History is repeating itself again and again and again and again.

My deepest condolences to Dean's family with this loss.
He will always shine bright like a diamond in the sky.
Let's all pray for the family for this loss. 🙏

Dear Followers,

Due the fact that the covid-19 virus is still spreading around the world. The organization of miss elegance of the world took a difficult disission. They decided to postpone the finals from March to July.
That means that I will not be traveling to Blackpool in March together with Miss Elegance of the world Vlaanderen 2021 Katia Klink. We understand that this was a very hard decision to make. The good thing about it is that we can still do a lot of things with or sash and you haven't seen the last of us yet.

Movember 2021 – Men’s Health Awareness Month

Movember is a global campaign which quite simply asks you to pay attention and most importantly raise awareness for men’s cancers and other men’s health issues.

That’s why Movember is taking action, and tackling some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and su***de prevention on a global scale year round.

Wow,
Some busy months behind me and still busy months to go..
Did lots of apperiences (that were allowed due the covid-19 restrictions in Belgium) and some photoshoots..
- visited the junior prince and princess carnaval pageant for Limburg
- visited the adult prince and princess carnaval pageant for Limburg
- visited Bonaparte in Antwerp, one of the best places to be in Belgium for going out with friends and having fun.
- did photoshoots for Halloween
- And helped out at the event back to the nineties and nillies together with Miss Elegance of the world Vlaanderen 2021 Katia Klink and half of the profit will be giving to UK Cancer Research
- visited the opening of a new beauty center in Maaseik
And Best of all I published my first children's book...

In Flanders fields,
The poppies blow.
Between the crosses,
Row on row.

They gave their tomorrows,
So we could have our today...

Forever lost,
Forever changed,
We care,
So we remember..

On June 26, we had a photoshoot planned. the theme of that day was 80*s and 90*s fashion trends. Here are some of the photos from that shoot. And of course I also want to thank the photographers for the fantastic photos.

Belgium and the Netherlands have had a lot of flooding in recent days. Many people had to flee from their homes because it became too dangerous.
The otherwise quiet streets have turned into rivers with a strong current. Rustic villages that are slowly starting to resemble atlantis.
A lot of people have been affected and my heart goes out to these people. Let's put a heart to them and put a candle under this post. This is how we let them know in our own way that we think of them, we sympathize with them and show our support in these circumstances.
