Ryan Meadows Care Home
Welcome to our page where we will be featuring our day to day activities at Ryan Meadows Care Home.
Betty got her Christmas presents (at last)! ππ₯ΏπΎπ
This morning the last of the Christmas decorations came down. In the afternoon Caring Barber paid a visit - as he says - he turned our men handsome! π
As it's Veganuary this month we had a delicious vegan snack this afternoon. It was enjoyed by residents, staff and visitors. Ran out of memory, so unfortunately not so many photos. π«π π₯π«
This morning a discussion about our favourite vegetables somehow led to singing, which led to a sing along, which led to dancing! π
Cheers!
Party time! πππ₯
More photos from Christmas day. Residents opening their presents πππ π
Been sent this by a family member, sharing to the page for everyone who works at the home to see, our carers and nurses, kitchen staff, laundry and domestic staff, maintenance staff, admin staff, management and (dare I say it) activity staff. It takes an amazing team to keep our home functioning. Family members are also part of that amazing team. Merry Christmas to each and every one! β€οΈ
Merry Christmas! ππ₯³
Ladies and gents in Calderglen were well and truly pampered today. You can't see the tray with the glasses of champagne β€οΈ. Later they had a wee Christmas movie night with drinks, snacks and snuggly blankets.

That Caroline, always gets people singing and dancing!

Christmas party number 2 this evening in Heritage. Thank you Billy! Residents had a great time singing and dancing, although I think you might be in danger of losing your job to Helen! π. It's lovely to see residents enjoying themselves so much. Thank you also to the families who joined us, I hope you had as good a time as we did. β€οΈ
Meanwhile in Heritage.....
Molly and Jean keeping time to the music! π

We have won another competition! This time we had to design our own cocktail. We called it "Magic Meadows". We have won an activity pack which includes a cocktail shaker set, some special dementia aqua paints and paintbrushes and, wait for it...........12 litres of cream! So definitely some cocktail parties in the New Year!πΈπΉ
Thank you Lakeland Dairies Foodservice - UK/Ire and National Activity Providers Association! πΉπΈ
Peter, Billy's cousin had to have a go! Excuse the language. π
Billy was very brave today and had his legs waxed to raise funds for the home. The residents thought it was hilarious! π There's still time to sponsor him, sheet is on board at reception. Videos to follow.........
