The Prodigal son did notj know how to managed his breakthrough.(Luke 15:16)

*Many people have failed to understand that when you don't know how to manage your Breakthrough,it will break you down physically, financially, emotionally and even spiritually.*

The Bible speaking in the book of
*Proverbs 23:5 (KJV) says: Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.*

*Money has wing's. It can fly away from your hands anytime if you don't know how to handle it. (manage it)*

I have seen many wealthy men and women who could not be able to manage their breakthrough and today they have nothing to show.

*God is not respecter of any person. (Acts 10:34b)*

The prodigal son thought what he had gotten from his father was never going to be exhausted.

*Money can only be multiplied not through spending but through wise investment.*

*Whatever leaves your hand for God and others, does not leave your life but goes into your future to multiply.*

*Job 14:7-9 (KJV) For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again,* *and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.*
*Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;*
*Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.*

As long as the tree is not rooted out, there's possibility for it to sprout again.

*Many easily give up on the journey of life.*
*The Good news for you is that,there is still hope for you.*
*Your life can't be cut short.*Proverbs 10:28 (KJV) The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.*

Proverbs 23:18 (KJV) *For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.*
Whenever a tree is cut down, there's an indication that it could spread wider by it's branches.
When a man is under going the process of pruning, he's not to be destroy rather to be made strong.

When a tree is cut down, it makes it look far better than it's former, it's branches will spring up afresh.

*John 15:2 (KJV) - Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.*

*Every child of God that want to be used of God must be ready to undergo purging (pruning)*
God is not the user men and abandon,He will surely reward you abundantly.
*Human beings are described as trees.*

*Mark 8:22-25 (KJV) - And he cometh to *Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.*
*And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.*

*After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.*

This blind man desire to be healed for a long time and when Jesus spat on him, he asked him what did you see?
The blind man says I see men like trees, until when he put his hands on him again and he said I see men clearly now.

*What do you see in your future?*

*What are you aspiring to become in life?*
Put God first (Mathew 6:33).
Until you cleave to Jesus who owns your life and everything, then your hope will be alive.

,*Without being born again, there's no assurance of the hope of your great future.*

I urge you this morning especially for those who are still doubting whether Jesus is coming back, don't be deceived.

*Colossians 1:27-29 (KJV) - To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:*
*Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:*

Jesus is coming again, He is coming and he shall reign. He is not coming for any particular denominations, He is coming for his saints.

*Be among the saints for there is still hope for the living.*

*Ecclesiastes 9:4-5 (KJV) - For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.*
*For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.*

*To be alive it's a gift from the Lord. It's not by merit neither is it what anyone can brag about.*

*The life of a man is in the hands of the Lord it's only him that has power to take life and power to bring back to life*

*1 Samuel 2:6 (KJV) - The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.*

What the anchor scripture is making us to understand this morning is that for you that is alive, you still have hope, you still have opportunity to follow the right step incase you have gone astray.

*While you're still alive, you know if the life you are living in correspond with God's pattern.*

*For a dog that is alive is far more better and more important than a dead lion.*

You're better than the dead, you have time to adjust the way you live your life.
The person who is still alive has hope and is aware that one-day he will die while the person who is already dead, does not know what is happening and does not have any reward again on earth because the memory of the dead is forgotten.

*My dear reader, there's no much time to waste here on earth, whatever you can do, do it quickly.*

Serve the Lord passionately while you're still alive.

*The essence of you being alive is to serve the Lord with all your heart and without any pretence.*

Don't hide your identity of who you are in Christ.
Don't be deceived nor carried away with the cares of this world, they're all vanities.(Eccls. 2)

Deuteronomy 11:13 (KJV) says: And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.

*How to know if you truly love the Lord.*

*You must be obedient to his call, whatever he asked you to do or wherever he sent you to go, be ready to go without murmuring and complaining.(Philippians 2:14)*

Is he asking you to go and start children ministry or a missionary work;
Is it an Evangelistic work in the rural areas?
*Are you called to be praying for others or to be a helper supporting the work of God like few women in Luke 8:1-3 who jointly supported Jesus' ministry*

Not everybody is called as a pastor or prophet, Evangelist nor Apostles.
Discovered your calling.
Your own calling may fall under the category of this group.
*Romans 12:4-10 (KJV) *For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:*
*So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.*
*Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;*

Above all find out the area of your calling so you can begin to function in it while you're still alive for there is still hope for the living.

Topic:*THE UNUSUAL MIRACLE.*

*Anchor scripture:*
*Matthew 17:24-27 (KJV) - And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?*
*He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?*
*Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.*
*Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.*

From our anchor scripture, even Jesus believed in paying tribute (tax) and that was why he paid for himself and for Peter.

To pay taxes is not a sin. If your company or business center is registered you are expected to pay your tax.

For those who violently querel and argue about paying tribute (tax) you're violating the law. It's your responsibility to pay tax to the government.

What's required of you is to keep the law that binds you together with government.

*Nobody is above the law.*
*Jesus was not above the law to pay his tribute (tax).*

Peter had a financial challenge, but Jesus told him to go and throw the hook into the sea and the first fish he would catch, he should opened its mouth and he should use the two coins he would see to pay their tribute (tax).

*That unusual and expected miracle you have been waiting for is still available.

*Who would have expected that the money could be in the mouth of the fish to meet the needs of Peter.*

Learn from this short story.
My spiritual mother share a true life story about a couple that married and the inlaws were putting up threat of divorce and they were always instigating their son to send her away.
And so one day her husband began to maltreat her every day.
The Man went and took his wife's wedding ring unknown to her and threw it into the sea.
The threat was so severe that he was no longer giving her money for feeding and he began to ask her about her wedding ring. This woman looked for her ring but could not find it.
One faithful day the husband said to her, "If I go out and come back today and you can't show me the wedding ring that I gave you on our wedding day, count yourself out of this home by tomorrow".
When the man went out, of course the wife was a woman of prayer, she was always praying fervently because she wouldn't want to lose her marriage.
She had some little change (money) and went to buy garri and the remaining small money with her she bought one fish that was the money that she could afford.

The fish seller wanted to cut the fish for her but she refused because she was in a hurry to get back home on time. So she went home with her fish and as she got to the kitchen to start her cooking, as she cut the fish lo and behold she saw her wedding ring inside the fish.
*What a miracle God we serve.*

God is still sitted on the throne to crush down the forces of darkness that is working against your life and marriage.

*Psalms 32:8-9 (KJV) I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.*
*Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.*

John 10:14 (KJV) - I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
For you to enjoy his leading and guidance you must know that he will never lead you astray.
That's the reason why he warn us not to be like a horse or mule that has no understanding.

For one to enjoy God as your shepherd,you must know him as your Lord and personal saviour.

John 10:15 (KJV) - As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

Every Man or Woman need God's guidance and leading.
God is ever ready to give you directions and backing as you make certain decisions of life.

In our yesterday anchor scripture,we were told in the last part of the verse that he will lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Every serious minded Christian must strongly believe that it's only in him (God) that we lean and absolutely trust in him.

In our today's anchor scripture God says he will instruct and teach us in the way which we will go, he also said he will guide us with his own eye.

*When you have a shepherd over your life you enjoyed his shelter and protection.*.

*When you have a shepherd over your life you need not to fear anything.*

*When you have him as your shepherd,he will teach you all things and nothing will take you unaware.*

There's general problem around the world today even among the christiandom.

Christianity of today we have witnessed,is that many seems to depend on their own interlectual sense's,they assume that they know it all,some even conclude that God does not exist or that He is very far away.
So they decide to take any decisions on their own without consultation.
Our God is the all knowing God and he is alive now and ever more..

*Proverbs 3:5-7 (KJV) - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.*
*In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.*
*Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.*

There are journeys of life that everyone makes, in every journey, there's possibility that you may come across on the journey of life, you experience some potholes, corners and junctions,the road you're not conversant with, you may require a leader to lead or direct you to the right way so to avoid yourself going astray.

When you don't know the way to where you're going, definitely you may get lost, and anything may happen on the way.

In a term of weariness and heartache, David looked beyond any human guide, seeking direction from the God he served.

From the anchor scripture for this morning, David longed for the safety and relief of being ushered afresh into God's presence.

Everyone need God's presence to go with
Moses needed God's presence to go with him.
*Exodus 33:15 (KJV) And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.*

Psalms 61:3-4 (KJV) *For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.*
*I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.*

God's guidance in life is desperately needed for people.The scripture describe as sheep that have gone astray (psalm 53:6).

Left to ourselves we will be hopelessly lost on the journey,but we are not left to ourselves,we have shepherd who leads us beside still waters,who refreshes our souls, and guides us(psalm 23:2-3).

I may not know how or where you may need his leading or guidance,why not sought for a right shepherd who does not mislead and you will not regret today.

*Exodus 14:14-15 (KJV) The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.*
*And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:*

The children of Israel suffered setbacks from the hands of pharoah,he had humiliated and threatened them and they cried out for help to Moses and Moses had to cried back to God because he knew that only God has the solution to their cry.

One time they murmured against Moses and accuses him and they even said to him why did you brought us here,you would had left us in the land of Egypt so we could continue to eat the cucumber and lettuce,they were all going through pains and hard time.

But the Lord heard their cry and told Moses to tell them that their cry has reached up to Heaven and I have heard their cried,tell them to move forward!

Most times when faced with difficult situations of life when help is needed and it looks as if there's no way out, There's always a God out there that is ready to help you.
All that requires of you is patience.
Psalms 37:7 (KJV) says *Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.*
We must learn to wait patiently for the Lord because he has the best for us.

The God whom we serve neither sleep nor slumber.he won't let your foot dash to the stone.

Another time the children of Israel were on a journey but they never arrived to their place of destination they kept on experiencing set back roaming round the circle until the Lord said it's enough of you moving round the circle, henceforth move Northward.

*Deuteronomy 2:1-3 (KJV) Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.*
*And the LORD spake unto me, saying,*
*Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.*
*Every limitations you have been experiencing, I pray for someone today that this month of March henceforth you will March forward in the mighty name of Jesus.*

No matter be the tight corner you have been in and you don't know a way out I decreed upon your life there's a way for you.
*You will not miss out anymore.*
*The psalmist says in
*Psalms 121:1-8 (KJV) I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.*

*The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.*
*The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.*
*The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.*
*The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.*

Prayer points:
*I pray for you that henceforth you not go down again, God will lead you and take you to the top.*

*WE GIVE GOD THANKS FOR THE SUCCESS OF OUR WIDOWS OUTREACHES/CRY ALOUD FOR THE REDEMPTION OF OUR LAND WHICH STARTED 12TH SEPT 2012. THIS YEAR'S OUTREACH IS THE NINETH (9). AND IT TOOK PLACE AT DIKO, NIGER STATE, NIGERIA ON TUESDAY 14TH DECEMBER 2021.*

*The message preached by Pst Mrs Alice Adelayo was centered on "LOVE".(John 3:16-18).*

*She made three important points:.*

1. *She admonished the widows to love God at all times and not when they're in need. That when they truly love God, He will always meet their needs.*
2. *She charged them to do away with self pity as God is their husband, and that they should not allow the hardships of life to pushed them to the world nor to commit sin. She gave an example of when there was severe famine in the land of Israel, where two women were killing their own children to survived the famine. (2 Kings 6:25-29). She said Jesus had already paid the price of dying on the cross for their sins. And that anyone who practice such wicked act is not different from practicing a witchcraft.*
*God hate sin, anyone who commit sin is of the devil.*
*God loves us the way we are and we must do things that will please and give Glory to God.*

3. *She finally said you don't have to be a widow before you can be a blessing to the widows like the case of Dorcas in (Acts 9:36-46) where she allowed God to used her by touching their lives through her good works.*

*She rounded up by saying that anyone that is still practicing witchcraft will not make Heaven. And she made them to rededicate their lives to God.*

*She raised some prayer points and made the widows pray earnestly for their families, the Land of Diko and the nation as a whole.*

*We are also ceasing this opportunity to thank all our supporters and those who privately gave generously for the success of this great task.*
