Introducing Painted Pines, our range of hand-painted wooden frames. Our first feature is the Patachitra edition. These frames are entirely handmade. One of the most pleasing compositions in this series, Hana is a statement in organic symmetry anId use of negative space. The seemingly descending shapes draw the eye to the middle; the muted tones centre the mind.
Hana Maroon brings all that symmetrical goodness in a moody muted maroon.

“Baransu” is the Japanese word for Balance. This series is inspired by the ancient Japanese philosophy of Nagomi. The philosophy entails bringing together life’s disparate elements and making them work harmoniously. True to that, the art work brings together seemingly incongruous elements and forming aesthetically pleasing symmetry out of it, doing so in welcoming warm earthy tones.
