I feel no matter the orientation, there are still body stereotypes and shaming.
I bring this one up for example.
Just as there is body stereotyping for women in the media, there are for men as well.
Often times men are supposed to seem taller, stronger, and have a full on set of abbs in a picturesque society, and not much else. Anything different is seen as less masculine, not attractive, or is not as acceptable for a male personality.
It is not appearances that "bake the cake" but demeanor.
"Lanky" male bodies can be macho.
"Short" stature can be just as intimidating.
Plus "dad bods" are just as strong as well as adorable.

It is all attitude.

This is something personal and I am sure many people feel this way in secret.
For this year, I am taking fitness and nutrition very seriously.
This is why:
As of January in 2023, due to body changes and sudden weight fluctuations due to medications for health at the time I was taking, I discovered a self disgust-like-hatred for my body. This was solely my own doing.
Even in a society of promoting body positivity, there are still people who struggle with body image. Just know you aren't alone. It takes time, and baby steps.
