BISHOP RAPADAS RECONSTITUTES NEW MSPC YOUTH EXECUTIVE TEAM

"Young people can offer the Church the beauty of youth by renewing her ability to rejoice with new beginnings." [Christus Vivit No.37]

With the recent turnover of responsibilities from the former MSPC Youth Executive Team of the Archdiocese of Zamboanga, His Excellency, the Most Reverend Jose R. Rapadas III, D.D., MSPC Youth Bishop In-charge and Bishop of Iligan, has officially reconstituted the new MSPC Youth Executive Team. This team will assist him in the administration and implementation of plans and programs within the MSPC Youth Commission.

Bishop Rapadas has announced the official appointments for the reconstituted MSPC Youth Executive Team as follows:

1. Rev. Fr. John Resty Oroyan as MSPC Youth Director
2. Sr. Melba Suan, MSM as MSPC Youth Coordinator
3. Krisha Jane Intay as MSPC Youth Leader

These appointments mark a new chapter in the MSPC Youth Commission's journey, Padayon, MSPC Youth Ministry! Padayon, mga batan-on sa Mindanao!

TURNOVER OF THE MSPC YOUTH COMMISSION LEADERSHIP HELD

The turnover ceremony for the Mindanao-Sulu Pastoral Conference (MSPC) Youth Commission's leadership took place last June 3, 2024 at the Diocese of Iligan Pastoral Center. This event marked the transition of the Executive Team from the Archdiocese of Zamboanga to the Diocese of Iligan.

The incoming Executive Team from the Diocese of Iligan is headed by the MSPC Youth Commission Bishop In-charge, Most Rev. Jose R. Rapadas III, D.D., who is also the Bishop of the Diocese of Iligan.

As we set the sail of our Bangka with a new set of MSPC Youth Executive Team Officers, our hearts remain forever grateful for the guidance and direction that our former MSPC Youth Executive Team have always set and shared to the MSPC Youth Ministry. The years you have spent with the MSPC Youth ministry is a manifestation of your "generous commitment", "whole-hearted dedication" and great love for the young people and the selfless sacrifice you have offered to always advance what is best for the youth ministry in Mindanao.

May God reward you a thousandfold in ways only He knows. May the Lord bless you and keep you wherever you may be sent to continue sharing Christ to others.

MSPC YOUTH WELCOMES A NEW BISHOP IN-CHARGE

The Mindanao-Sulu Pastoral Conference Youth Executive Team is delighted to formally announce the appointment of a new Bishop In-Charge for MSPC Youth by the Mindanao Bishops. We are honored to introduce MOST REV. JOSE RAMIREZ RAPADAS III, DD, Bishop of the Diocese of Iligan, as the newly appointed MSPC Youth Bishop-In Charge. As we embark on a fresh chapter in the Ministry for Mindanao's youth, we greet Bishop Joey with great anticipation and enthusiasm, extending a warm and heartfelt welcome to the MSPC Youth family.

This moment also provides an occasion to convey our profound gratitude to MOST REV. MOISES M. CUEVAS, D.D., who has been dedicatedly serving as the MSPC Youth Bishop In-Charge since 2022. Fondly referred to as "Bishop Moi" by the young people of Mindanao, he has earned profound affection for his wisdom in shepherding, his genuine ability to relate to the youth, and his visionary leadership, which consistently placed young people at the forefront of the Church's mission. We express our heartfelt thanks to Bishop Moi for his invaluable contributions. Daghang salamat, Bishop Moi!

Let us remain steadfast in our prayers for Bishop Moi as he embarks on his new mission in the Apostolic Vicariate in Calapan. Likewise, let us fervently pray for Bishop Joey as he commences his journey in serving the youth of Mindanao.
