First time making skoleboller otherwise known as Norweigan School Buns. This recipe is from BreadbyElise and is leavened with a sweet sourdough starter.
I also used her recipe to make raspberry cardamom twist buns, also leavened with a sweet starter.

Decided to shake up the vanilla sugar cookie recipe by adding in maple extract, baking spice and dark brown sugar. They taste like Fall.
Bit of a late post, but I made red bean mooncakes for Mid-Autumn Festival !
Made them with the recipe from Mooncakes and Milk Bread by Kristina Cho but I used gluten free flour instead :)

Made The Loopy Whisk's AMAZING chocolate cake which just happens to be gluten free AND vegan.
Let me tell you, you cannot tell! It is just a moist, decadent, chocolate cake with a delicate crumb structure and creamy frosting you want to go swimming in.

I made these for fun to celebrate a colleague's daughter's engagement/upcoming wedding and I took the idea of sunflowers from their wedding website.
Some new techniques I tried:
- wet on wet icing
- painting on piped flowers
- using a thinner consistency icing for the words
