Grow Grow Grow With Mike
Just a guy sharing his plants
She's so beautiful 😍 (I hope it's a she lol)
I love seeing the color difference between the two lights, even though I've kept the white ones off recently. I'll probably only use the white wrap around lights for flowering, for full exposure.
So far, we are 6.5 weeks into Veg (pic taken last week) and no trimming or training. I was supposed to trim this weekend but life got in the way lol. Might switch to 12/12 at 8 weeks and see what happens 🤔
I'm having a lot of fun with this experiment! I'm excited to see how it turns out and trying this a couple times, maybe with some genetics next!?
Check In ✅ Week 3 of Veg!
Definitely loving the new soil and fabric pot 🤗 I'm seeing lots of new growth since repotting, which I'm attributing to the nutrient soil and breathable pot. Lights are still 24hrs, temperature ranges from 24-27°c, and I'm watering every other day or when the soil seems dry.
New house plant from Home Depot today! I transplanted this Pilea, or Chinese money plant into some Miracle Grow potting mix from Home Depot as well. Probably the same stuff I'll use to transplant my Cannabis plant later this week 😁
I've been playing with some variations of plant positioning inside the bin lately, I think this new 3 in a row creates some more equal air flow inside. I find the carbon filter on my intake makes a big difference in bin temperature, I can really cool the environment down by removing it. Also playing with that, the door opening, and plant positions to keep a more constant temperature inside.
Finally another grow has begun 😊
I started germinating on the 5th, and planted 3 successful seeds on the 11th. I'm just using some leftover black earth for germinating, but will replant 1 into the bin, in a fabric pot and nutrient rich soil.
Strain is unknown, but they were leftover seeds from my previous outdoor grow.
My grow bin is inspired from spacebuckets.com and the associated subreddit. I used a 350W LED on top, wrapped in 3600K white LEDs. There is a 5 PC inch fan on top with a carbon filter, a 3 inch PC fan on the bottom for exhaust, and an inline fan on top just incase. Eventually I'll exhaust it directly out the window, with a dryer vent and another 3 inch PC fan. Airflow is important!
When you don't grow but your friends do! Some beautiful Southern Ontario outdoor, THC/CBD 1:1 unknown strain.
Lets be real, 2020 was a $h!t show! I didn't get to accomplish the outdoor garden plans I had, but I'm still working on something new. A little experiment I created, so stay tuned for more posts and content to come!
I love a clean bowl!
This is actually the last of the white widow I have from a friends grow. I don't plan to purchase much more, unless it's seeds, and wouldn't mind a bit of a tolerance break.
I'm focusing on getting my new grow space up and running, which will be a big project, but im quite excited! Hoping to be up and running by the end of the month. It's been a while since I've grown, and I'm very excited to get going again.
More to come!
