What started off as a great evening for the Bonner Prendie & Upper Darby community is unfortunately being overshadowed by the actions of certain individuals. I want to thank the Upper Darby Police Department for their swift action last night in identifying the problem and ensuring the safety of all those present.
Although the night ended in a chaotic matter, I want to thank the administrations of both Bonner Prendie & Upper Darby who helped organize the event and focus on the great community environment it was prior to the end.
I was very excited to return to my grade school, St. Bernadette’s, to give the opening remarks for their Annual Walk-A-Thon today.

Please see a message from Upper Darby Township regarding the upcoming Winter storm.
A winter storm warning has been issued for Upper Darby. Snow is predicted throughout the day, however the worst of the storm will not hit the area until this evening with snow beginning to accumulate around 7pm and continue until Saturday morning totaling between 5-7 inches. We are continuing to monitor the situation as the storm progresses.
The streets were brined yesterday in preparation and there are more than 20 plow trucks with salt spreaders ready. We are fully stocked with salt and plan to have trucks out during the entire snow event. Please stay off the road ways and avoid all non-essential travel during the snowstorm, so that our salt trucks, snow plows, and first responders can move freely and keep everyone safe.
I had the honor of being sworn in as Councilman for Upper Darby’s 3rd District last night.

Well deserved, Meaghan! I look forward to serving with you on Council. Congratulations!
Please welcome Meaghan Wagner to the Upper Darby Township Council, representing the people of Upper Darby's 1st District! Meaghan is Delaware County born and bred, a former prosecutor, a cancer survivor and a Temple U grad twice over. We are excited to have her law enforcement perspective on Council as our Township deals with a rise in violent crime especially.
Like our other races, this election was NOT a foregone conclusion and we would not have Meaghan joining Councilman-elect Brian Andruszko (3rd District) or Councilwoman Lisa Faraglia (2nd District) without YOUR votes and support! Thank you to our voters!
And, especially, thank you to Councilman Don Bonnett for his years of service to the people of Upper Darby.
Welcome, Meaghan!
Please welcome Brian Andruszko to the Upper Darby Township Council! Brian is a finance professional, Penn State grad and lifelong Upper Darby resident. He loves serving his community, especially by volunteering at Saint Bernadette’s Parish, and is looking to create a better business climate for our Township.
**Brian's race was in NO way a foregone conclusion so we THANK our voters in the 3rd District** who turned out in droves to make sure we kept this seat, and replaced one great councilman with another.
We are excited to have Brian provide his fresh voice and finance background on our Council, and we thank Councilman Tom Wagner for his years of service to the Upper Darby community!
