"Also, not sure who was playing the music at the finish line, but they took my breath away (literally!). The Red Sox and their 7th inning song (Sweet Caroline) has a very special place in my heart. To hear that song as I was finishing the marathon was something I was not expecting and it is a feeling I cannot describe. I literally could not catch my breath and I was nearly in tears.
I assume they saw my Boston Red Sox’s hat and picked the song. Otherwise the unlikely coincidence is even more mysterious. Please pass on my thanks to the emcee."
