Regarding eligibility, students must attest that for COVID-19 reasons they are:

Have you set up your CRA account online yet? If not make sure you sign up for one as soon as possible as it takes a few days to set up your account.

By having an account you can:
1️⃣ Apply for government assistance programs such as CERB and the upcoming Emergency Student Benefit
2️⃣ Easily access your tax slips (T3, T4, T5, OAS, TFSA, etc.) [However does not include certain slips such as Donations, Ontario Trillium Benefit, Tuition, etc.]
3️⃣ Access information regarding your RRSP and TFSA room to avoid over contribution penalties
4️⃣ Access your current year tax filing status and previous tax returns

If you have any questions about how to create your online CRA account feel free to reach out to me
