It's hard to believe that two years have gone by since we opened the doors at Careology Institute. What started as a dream to make education more accessible to long-term care providers during the height of a pandemic has bloomed into a fully formed group of hard working educators, consultants, and operators across two states.

We are so thankful to everyone who has helped Careology Institute grow over the past two years. We wouldn't be where we are today without the hard work and love put into it by everyone on our team. No one person builds a company on their own, and that certainly is true for us.

Careology Institute has plans to grow as we go into our third year running, adding new programs and classes for our students to enjoy.

The other week we asked if "If the participant does not recognize the need for the information the instructor's effort to assist the student to learn will be in vain." was true or false. Many of you answered that it was false.
In looking at student motivation, it is believed that the instructor must establish rapport with participants and prepare them for learning; this provides motivation. This means helping the student see the payoff related to their learning.
Instructors must learn why their students are taking part in a training or a course; they have to discover what is keeping them from learning. Then the instructors must plan their motivating strategies. A successful strategy includes showing adult learners the relationship between training and a payoff.

Training staff can often be challenging for any leader. Below is a question on motivating your staff as learners. Do you think it is true or false? Answer below and see the answer next weekend!
