Hi, Dance-Lovers! This is the Dance Exchange organiser, Erica Okamura. I've been getting some messages asking about what my dance background is, so I thought I'd share a couple of things! I used to do some contemporary dance in the USA. This is the last concert I was in, about 14 years ago! I'm on the right. After I broke my foot, I got more into the research/writing side of the dance world, looking at dance as part of larger cultural systems (ethnochoreology or dance anthropology). I can't wait to share -- and learn more about dance -- through the Dance Exchange. The first workshop is n 21 days!
