Hello All- 🙂
Thank you for following my little projects. It's been a lot of fun!! However, I am excited to announce that we are expecting our first grandbaby. It is an honor and privilege to now change my primary focus therefore I am making my final post for you all as promised with the after pics of the table I have been flipping for some time now. Flip–N–Fabulous is flipping it’s focus.
I have decided to exclusively flip furniture. It is what I enjoy the most and am very excited about this decision. Teaser- Bringing back the beauty of yesterday. This gorgeous dresser was made by The Empire Furniture Company. From my research it was built prior to the 1930's. If it could talk, the stories it would tell. I found a bug carved on the top of the dresser. Who knows who did it and how long ago that was, but it was touching to see that someone, likely a child, had left his or her mark on this dressers' journey. I am excited to bring this piece back to life so that it's journey can continue. Stay posted for the after pics coming soon. Shabby Chic- SOLD
This beautifully preserved velvet Dunmore Wingback Chair is making its deput on Marketplace and multiple groups. Its burnt orange color and cane webbing inlay is complimented by the cream color palette on the wood frame. It is staged with a bohemian flare but is also shown in a more traditional way. This chair is versatile in its use and would make a great addition to any room.

Featured Spotlight---
This gorgeous table is stained in a transparent navy-blue where the natural wood grain, worm holes and knots still appear through its finish. This side table would make a statement next to any sofa or bed and provides great space for a lamp and/or your personalized accessories. It has beautifully shaped black iron legs. This piece is 23 1/2" Tall x 23" W x 27 1/2" deep. It is finished off with a porcelain k**b adding texture and color to the centered drawer. It can also be seen on Marketplace. :)

This Bistro is ready for some summer fun! Fantastic indoor/outdoor piece for hosting friends or family. It is 37" T x 28" W and is sold with two folding stools for easy storage. The stools are 24" T x 13" W and are covered in seat covers that are easily removed for washing or if you prefer to go with a padded solid black stool. This is located in my Marketspace at Hardware and Roses in Lexington. Come on out and see it for yourself and have some fun shopping while you're there. :)

Not sure if everyone remembers a previous before and after of this clients' tables. However, after seeing the technique I used on the black side table I most recently posted, she requested I apply the same technique to her tables. Here they are and what a huge difference it made. Love this look! Really spotlights the curves and character of each piece and takes it to a whole new level. :)

To quote the Pixar Animated movie, Up, "Squirrell"!! lol I am featuring the side table that I promised after posting before pics a week or so ago. My original intentions were to paint it one solid chic color. However, I was encouraged to experiment on this piece with Gilding Wax, so I threw caution to the wind and for the very first time here it is folks. Midnight Black side table accented in silver Gilding wax. Who knows, it might tickle someone's fancy. :) I am currently posting it on Marketplace for sale. Let's see what happens!! Happy shopping! This whitewashed Farmhouse Style Unit is listed on Marketplace and multiple other groups. It is a diverse piece and a beautiful addition to any room. It is 32"W x 76"H x 14 3/4"D with rod iron hardware. Here it is shown as a coffee and wine serving station with storage. However, it could be used in a dining room to display dishes and store cloth napkins and rings etc. It could be used in a living room with baskets for storage and embellished with home decor. In the bedroom for toys and clothes or in an office displaying your book collection and/or other home decor. After a bout with Covid my client was finally able to pick up her end tables. She loves them! I promised the after pics and she was kind enough to picture them for us. These pieces were near 45 years old and had great sentimental value to my client. They were in desperate need of some care and have beautifully flipped. They will bring her joy for many more years. Thanks for sharing my flips with me! :)

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with time spent and memories made with family and friends. I am posting another teaser with before pics of two end tables I am working on for a client. These vintage pieces have very sentimental value to my client. She wanted to keep them and continue to enjoy them in her formal living room situated side by side in front of her sofa in place of a traditional coffee table. They are beautiful pieces that just needed a little tender loving care. I am excited to share the after pictures so stay tuned. :) It is an honor to have been entrusted with these pieces and has been a privilege to give them new life. This familiar phrase was made popular by the 1954 song "Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep", from the motion picture "White Christmas", written by Irving Berlin. God has given us so many things that are positive and amazing in our world and around us. In times when we are sad, frustrated, discouraged, frightened or angry, it can be easy to lose sight of all the good things. That’s when we can be intentional to take an inventory of our lives and remember that we have so many blessings to count. I challenge and encourage you to count your blessings not just this holiday but all year round that on one of those days your world may look a little brighter. Happy "Thanksgiving"!!!

I am also currently completing a headboard she recently purchased. The client provided the specific paint and color. This was a fun project to watch transition into these very unique and beautiful flips specific to the clients needs and wants.
