This beautiful handmade piece is made out of Poplar and Red Oak, using traditional joinery for the base in half lap configuration.

The piece is stained with black india ink, sanded down smooth and the design is done in painted copper. Other designs can be made upon request.

New CNC and ready for new creations

I handmade this bench from famous designer George Nelson labeled simply "The Nelson Bench"

The Nelson Bench is one of the most iconic benches ever made and sold from the company Herman Miller. These benches sell from hundreds to a couple thousand depending on size and they type of hardwood used.

This bench is made from Beech hardwood designed with hard edges and obtuse angles give it timeless modern look even though it was created in the 1940's. The legs are stained with felt pads at the bottom that won't scuff the floor. Danish oil applied and wipe on poly finish added for extra protection.

If you are interested in a Nelson style bench let me know or if you would like to purchase this piece, the first 250 takes it. It has some minor flaws so I'm letting it go at a good price.

Some cool coasters I made on the CNC out of Maple hardwood and black epoxy, sanded smooth with a food safe finish.

Here is a new handmade item I created from solid red oak, modern clean lines, and stained black to give it a contemporary look.

This is a true one of a kind piece, I handmade this contemporary take on a MCM (mid century modern) design.

I created this design from paper, to end product.

This piece was created from a 1&1/2" thick slab of live edge Walnut. I milled the wood wood myself, used traditional joinery to ensure a all pieces connected were seamless, not one screw was used.

The legs were made from 1" thick walnut using contemporary obtuse angles to show a modern approach to traditional MCM legs, and 1/4" round over on the front of the legs gives it a organic look to the angled feet.

The table top was was sanded to 1000 grit which gives the top a smooth to the touch feel and was finished in a high-end hard wax finish for a semi gloss shine. A 45degree chamfer was add to the bottom of the table top for a more contemporary look

Dimensions are 28" diameter and 19" tall.

This is truly a artistic piece and will last for years to come as it was made from some of the most expensive and beautiful hardwood here in the US.

I handmade this beautiful MCM (Mid Century Modern) coffee table from Beech and Mahogany hardwood. The obtuse angles and warmth of the contrasting colors of the wood provide interest and will definitely be a conversation piece when you have company.

Handmade MCM furniture is in high demand and commands a premium price due to the cost in premium materials used and hours spent in design and construction.
