Harrison Wendt for Durango City Council

Candidate for Durango City Council The remaking of racial, economic and environmental justice. A change that comes from compassion and the voice of Durango.

I am running for Durango City Council to fight for real structural change; to create a difference regardless of race, gender, and socio-economic background. A transformation that is revolutionary, and benefits the people. The time IS now.

Election offers ‘a sense of hope’ 02/04/2023

“This City Council election has provided me with a sense of hope that I haven’t experienced in a local election before.

As a young working professional, I’m thrilled to see a candidate who I feel I can relate to. It’s clear that Harrison Wendt truly understands how managing to survive financially in Durango has proven to become a passion project, even for essential workers.

Harrison has shown maturity, knowledge, confidence and dedication to the community that other young candidates clearly lack. We have an incredible opportunity to experience a board of diverse, intelligent and capable councilors who can relate to all. I am looking forward to seeing our community make the most of this opportunity.
