This week we continued our absolutely fantabulous adventures in with Oulun kaupungin nuorten työpajat! The participants can now rock the and got familiar with how the works, and how different power, speed and resolution settings affect the outcomes. We made some pretty unique keychains, and little lanterns for led candles to brighten up those cold november evenings 🥰

After a big success with the vinyl cutter workshop, Oulun osaamiskeskus and Make4Change are now organizing a laser cutter workshop! This time participants get the opportunity to create a 2D design and bring it to life with a laser cutter 😊
The workshop is for unemployed immigrants in Oulu. Participation is free. No previous experience or strong digital skills are required. Instruction is in Finnish and English!

Here are 2 protos in the making - one that will tell you when coffee is ready, one that reminds you to stand up and move your butt every now and then.

In this 4-day workshop held at FabLab BusinessAsema you will learn how to build a small object that is able to react to your actions: turn on/off LED, move a motor ...
Participants will learn how to use Arduino framework to program microcontrollers, how to connect different sensors and actuators and how to integrate electronics in objects created at Fab Lab.
