Hi Everyone,
I know many people need help during this difficult time. I am a person living with a d

If you need any help with any services or locating them in your area please feel free to reach out to me and I will be of assistance. As this global pandemic of the COVID-19 virus continues remember to check your states' Health District and Federal CDC guidelines for more details about how to help yourself stay healthy.
I know we all have necessary needs for exercise and nutrition. So let's go out and make a difference with what we can. If you need adaptive recreation look into your local parks & recreation center when the COVID is over. While the COVID is going on let's continue to work whatever we have, whether it is different materials in our home or virtual workouts or a schedule given to us.
Many of us feel secluded from friends, family members, religious activities, etc. Maybe think about setting up a video chat with those whom you love.
Wherever you live right now please be advised if you are elderly there are open hours of getting your groceries earlier as you are at a much higher risk of getting exposed to the COVID-19 virus. Look for these on other websites of grocery stores and please feel free to message me if you have any concerns.
Everyone, If you healthy, able & eligible please consider donating to the American Red Cross for Blood donations and other blood products. They are in short supply because of the COVID-19 crisis. These products also help our military and other first responders in the field!!
I also want to remind everyone this is a service I am providing out of my heart so no monetary gain or purpose but to love on others is to be offered by this page. God Bless you, Everyone!!
Parents, Please remember your children even though this COVID-19 can be educated by you at home. There are hundreds of resources through your local libraries, websites, any amount of information on the web, and once again if there is a particular part of education you are looking for an age group please let me know through a DM and I will work with you to get the necessary materials you may want.
From a person who knows how hard Paratransit can sometimes be to get. I have learned another alternative route of transportation. You can look into your state aging and disability services division for a Taxi Assistance Program. Here in NV, we have one through our Aging and Disability Services Division called (TAP) or Taxi Assistance Program. To qualify for most of these programs they do require you to have the right income requirements meet. Here in NV, I know you have to be either 60 years of age or older or have a permanent disability which is verified by a doctor. Also, you must meet the required income requirements. I will say this though NEVER stray away from trying to get something you need just because you are concerned about not receiving it. The best thing to do for yourself is to try.
As the COVID-19 crisis is still upon us, let us remember there are ways to stay "social-distancing" and "Be Not Afraid". Through the power of social media today we are blessed to be able to talk to friends, pay bills, take care of postage, etc.... there are many different things you can do as an individual to combat the virus and fight with "social-distancing". Many people around the world suffer from chronic illness or disability, are you going to abandon them now in the deepest time of need? Think about safe practices while getting your daily routine done.
There are amazing resources for all kinds of disabilities. Did you know if you are physically disabled you qualify for resources to help you read materials from the library? According to the Library of Congress if you have a physical disability that makes it incapable of you handling regular materials you can qualify for a player just like the one you see below. They also have a sip-and-puff mechanism for those who lack the dexterity of their hands. These players are also Braille friendly, large-print friendly, and have many other means of giving you the satisfaction of reading a book. Looking to play a video game or hear about musical composition, the Library of Congress has got you covered. Just go to your state's Talking Book Services Division and you will find different ages, topics, and subjects to read and service you.
Did you know anybody in the USA can pick up a telephone and dial 2-1-1 and be directed to a representative to assist them in getting any services they need from there state? That's all you do! Just dial 2-1-1 but how many of us actually know what resources there are out there???
Hi Everyone, Welcome to a new chapter in my life. I have many years with a disability I did not know I had. And now I want to help others more than I had even before. This page is basically to make people aware and informed about what services are out there for them. So if you know of anyone disabled or not? Homeless? Hungry? Sick? etc. In need of prayers or services, my inbox is always open to help. I was granted a wonderful gift of knowledge from God and I have chosen to use it to help the world.
