Our pizza party is coming up on Monday! Thank you to all of you for contributing towards surpassing our goal of 713 volunteer hours, and reaching 789! Please continue to log the hours that you have earned since then so that we can continue to climb!

Today is world health day! Please remember to take care of yourselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. Take some time today to take a breath of fresh air, take a walk, eat a pineapple (Stephen's favorite), or even canoe on Jordan Lake. There has been an ongoing nationwide blood shortage leaving many without critical blood treatments. Consider donating at the next blood drive to help save lives.

In light of our amazing, Dook crushing, men's basketball team...we will NOT be having our meeting on Monday! Instead, we ask you to cheer your hardest for them as they compete for the national title. We will be sending out the slides that we would have been presenting through email. Also... don't forget that our next, and last, meeting will be our pizza party for reaching our volunteer hour goals!

The American Red Cross is facing a national blood crisis – its worst blood shortage in over a decade, posing a concerning risk to patient care. Doctors have been forced to make difficult decisions about who receives blood transfusions and who will need to wait until more products become available. Blood and platelet donations are critically needed to help prevent further delays in vital medical treatments. Please consider donating blood at our next blood drive this semester, on March 7th.

Our January blood drive is approaching quickly! Did you know... There are four main red blood cell types: A, B, AB and O. Each can be positive or negative for the Rh factor. AB is the universal recipient and O negative is the universal donor of red blood cells. Regardless of your blood type, please consider donating!
