Foster mom finally gave me one of the toys I got from my Secret Santa Paws. She said I had to wait until Christmas Eve for it. Borderline Scrooge I tell ya. I love it though! Even though it was supposed to be a secret, Auntie Holly spilled the beans. But at least I can thank her 😊

Searching for my furever family is exhausting! I was at Eleventh Hour Rescue again today but I'm back at my foster's all tuckered out. I'll keep dreaming about them though!

This year, I'm really thankful for all the people who haven't given up on me despite my quirks. It really means a lot that I have so many people who have my back, will do what's best for me and advocate for me. Thank you to Eleventh Hour Rescue, my foster family, the volunteers who spend time with me and especially, my future family - I can't wait to meet you ❤

Hi! I'm Copper! I was rescued during Hurricane Michael October 2018. That means I've been waiting over a year to find my furever family. I thought I found it once but it turns out, they didn't want me anymore. I try to be the best boy I know how to be, but sometimes I think people misunderstand me. You see, I can be a little scared of new people and new situations so I think people get the wrong impression. I just need to go slow and build some trust, but I promise once I do, I want nothing more than to love you.
I've been in foster care for most of my time with the rescue, but what I really want is a family to call my own. One with a quiet home who is willing to be patient, won't give up on me, and show me I'm worth it - because my foster mom says I totally am.
My favorite things are learning, relaxing in my favorite spot, window watching, playing with my foster fur siblings, going on hikes, and cuddling with my foster parents.
I'm trying out this social media thing in efforts to reach more people, hoping one of them will be my people. So, if you could share my page or a random post here and there, I'd really appreciate it.
