I was recently a guest on the podcast Your Hell Yes Life with Be. The show inspires women to trail-blaze a life of fulfillment and joy following their inner YES.

In the discussion, I talked about my book The Possibility of Everywhere and shared key things I have learned from years of rewriting the story I was living.

Here are some key takeaways from our conversation:

Embrace the Power of Story: How we tell our stories shapes our lives. By revisiting our old stories and recognizing the potential for growth and change, we can rewrite our narratives and create the life we desire.

Honor Feminine and Masculine Energies: Honor both feminine and masculine energies in our journey of personal growth. By embracing the principles of yin and yang, Shakti and Shiva, we can find balance and create positive change.

Take Action for Lasting Transformation: Awareness alone is not enough; action is necessary for real change. The process doesn't require perfection but self-respect and movement forward.

Join us as we dive deep into these topics and explore how embracing our unique stories and feminine power can lead to personal empowerment and a healthier planet.

Listen to the full September 14th episode on Your Hell Yes Life podcast, available on all major podcast platforms. Let's connect, inspire, and embrace our own "hell yes" attitude together!

‎Curiosity with Kristen: The possibility of everywhere with Beth Harkins on Apple Podcasts 07/09/2023

🎧 Check out this podcast called 'Curiosity with Kristen'! where we talk about my book The Possibility of Everywhere and the journey of women. I am so grateful the connection was made with Kristen, and I love how she brings her curiosity to every conversation, making it both educational and entertaining. She is an excellent host!

The interview was recorded prior to my international book launch tour. So much has happened since then, including the itinerary release for my small group travel experience: Encounter India and Shakti’s Feminine, Feb 4-17, 2024.

I would be honored if you listened to the podcast and let me know if something specific resonated with you.

I do enjoy talking about my written travels, my days with PanAm and the loving support of my late husband. And I enjoy even more hearing the stories of other women and what is possible for us together!

Will you please give it a listen? 🌟

Exciting updates and a gift for you! In addition to my award winning novel, The Possibility of Everywhere that was published May 1st, I am thrilled to announce I also have a chapter included in an Amazon Best Selling collaborative book, MidLife Awakening. The book includes chapters from 20 authors who share their Midlife Awakening stories. My chapter is called “Awakening under an African Mango Tree.” (This chapter is also told in a slightly different form in The Possibility of Everywhere).

In Midlife Awakening 20 Women Share Inspiring Stories of Midlife Transformation, I speak to women’s universal need to be seen, heard and valued. When I witnessed women gathered under an African mango tree rising to speak, I felt the rise of women worldwide. Many of these women were speaking for the first time around strangers. I began to understand that if this urge to stand up and be seen, heard and valued existed within me AND in an isolated, poverty stricken farming village in Kenya, it must exist worldwide. And within that urge I felt the greater sensation of the divine feminine being ready to rise as well. That day I felt my own authentic voice emerging and I knew I must write, speak and work to ignite women’s long silenced voices everywhere.

The newly published book including my chapter is available for purchase on Amazon as a paperback or e-book. HOWEVER, I am also offering you a PDF copy for FREE. Simply send an email to [email protected] saying you would like a copy, and I will reply with your access link. I wish to say thank you for your support, encouragement and feedback about my writing and the ideas I convey. I am excited to be able to gift the book in this way.

I love bringing Mother Nature close to me with blooming flowers close by.

I’m reminded of the pleasure of walking through gardens around the world. Not only like the gardens found in Versailles Palace in France, but also the lovely rose garden I enjoyed at my grandparents home in North Carolina, USA.

In my heart I treasure the sweet smell of bougainvillea blossoms. First discovered in the yard outside of our white stucco home in Casablanca, Morocco. My childhood home where I lived with my parents and sister when I was six years old.

Do you have a special flower in your life that evokes sweet memories?

I would love to hear your flower story.

Woven placemats. Their uniqueness parallels that of snowflakes. No two alike.
I love these placemats. Made by the hands of women from up-cycled saris.
The colors thrill me and remind me of traveling to Dubai and discovering the shop with the placemats.
I purchased these creations uniquely made by the hands of women.
I enjoy using them for dinner parties.

Ten Fun Facts About Beth! Her autobiographical novel, The Possibility of Everywhere will reveal more.

Beth’s favorite sound is wheels going up inside an airplane bound for someplace she’s never been.

Of the 195 countries in the world, Beth has traveled to 64 and can’t wait to see the rest.

She once slept in a tent on the Sahara Desert outside Timbuktu.

The following day, Beth flew out of Timbuktu on a Russian Prop plane with a woman sitting on my lap. Yes that’s right. Moments before departure, more passengers than seats appeared. Quickly the doors were closed. The plane took off. The last to board were forced to sit on another passenger’s lap. Beth held her breath and lived to tell about it.

Beth and her husband once spent 6 months traveling inside a Ford Explorer and sleeping inside a pup tent. They crossed 30,000 miles and 30 states during their 30th year of marriage. As they traveled, Beth gathered women’s stories and inspiration for her next act.

One and done! Beth had one husband. She has one daughter, one son-in-law and one grandson. Why test her luck wishing for more when one of each has been so grand?

As a widow of 8 years, Beth says she treasures memories of a 45-year loving and supportive marriage, but the life she has created on her own has also become a treasure.

Beth spent 20-years writing her first book. If she writes a second book, it will be entitled: How to Write a Book and Change Your life in 20 Years or Less.

For Beth, a good book and a glass of fine wine make for a great day.

Beth, in her 7th decade, has discovered how to reduce stress and to calm her mind in 48 seconds or less. Vishoka Meditation and breathwork have become her medicine.

Beth is an entertaining, inspiring speaker, women’s circle leader, world traveler and author of the soon-to-be published autobiographical novel, The Possibility of Everywhere: Casablanca to Oklahoma City, Katmandu to Timbuktu. She will also be featured in a chapter inside Midlife Awakening, curated by Cathy Derksen, to be released in January of 2023 by Action Takers Press.

By listening to women’s stories across 65 countries, including the backroads of the USA, Beth has discovered the transforming power of women’s stories—and that how we tell our stories to ourselves shapes our lives and shapes the world.

Beth offers Stretch into Your Next Step, a life-changing course for midlife and beyond women as they navigate life transitions while holding the impulse to bring forward their deepest desires.

Beth will soon launch Feminine Quest: Purposeful World Journeys and Retreats that expand possibilities for women on the path to self-actualization. Participants leave behind the ordinary to experience the extraordinary through inward and outward travel. Opportunities to hear the stories of women in cultures and circumstances outside our own distinguishes these journeys from other travel and retreat experiences. Purposeful World Journeys to India, Kenya and beyond are in the works.

Beth lives in Dallas, Texas, connected to family and friends worldwide. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in humanistic psychology. She will soon complete training with the Woman Centered Coaching Training and Leadership Institute and is a founding member of Dr. Claire Zammit’s Athena Women’s Leadership Mastermind.
