It’s that time again: No-Call/No-Show season!
I just wanted to take a moment to remind everyone that your tattoo artist, hairdresser, massage therapist, lash tech, nail tech, waxer etc
We’re just people.
Building a career to support our families, pets, lifestyle etc.

We recognize our services are luxuries that not everyone can afford or prioritize, however it is how we keep our homes warm, lights on and children fed. When you book an appointment, pay a deposit and commit to my time- I’m also committing my time to you!
When you cancel or reschedule an appointment WITH notice- it might be unfortunate but at least it gives me the chance to rebook your spot if I choose!
When you NO CALL/NO SHOW- it gives me no opportunity to make up for my time and while you may lose a deposit, I lose hours or days worth of income I was counting on for the week.

Cancelling without even reaching out to at least let me know is disrespectful overall but on a more personal level- it’s hurtful!
Because I’m human too! Holiday seasons are hard enough but sometimes my cars break down, my kids get sick, our utility bill is higher than we were expecting, etc
I GET IT. I fully understand unexpected expenses or hard seasons we didn’t anticipate when booking.

I can only help if you give me the chance!

So please be thoughtful of your service people this season, if you aren’t going to be able to fulfill your obligation to the appointment- reach out as soon as you know, even if it is the day of! It’s more appreciated than you realize.
