It has been a challenging week on the farm. Cleanup is happening and we are hoping to have power back soon!

Hey all. Today we are standing here nothing but grateful. The derecho that went through Monday night and early Tuesday morning wholloped the farm.

First and foremost, all people and animals are safe. That alone is enough to celebrate!

Second of all, we are incredibly grateful for all of the help, offers of help, prayers, and kind words we have received in the last 48 hours. This has been invaluable. A lot of people have asked how they can help, so here it is.

This lady is a meat chicken that hid really well on butcher day a year and a half ago, so she got to stay. Tell her congrats on being smarter than your average meat chicken if you see her!
