Iāve heard it said that we all have at least one book in usā¦if only we could find the
inspiration and the time to write it. Iām also reliably informed by publishing sector
professionals that, āif you do write and publish something, you should tell people outside
your family!ā
So, taking my courage in both handsā¦.Europe Over The Handlebars is a nostalgic adventure from a less connected time ā 1984. When physical maps, walkmans and phone
boxes were modern travel essentials; when cycling had yet to become a passion for middle-aged-men-in-lycra; and when going off grid wasnāt an option for which you had to pay extra.
It's a story about a young British/Aussie couple whose enthusiasm and determination regularly outweighed their cycling, map reading and foreign language skills. An adventure which led them across five countries in 90 days, told with tongue-in-cheek humour.
If you can still remember that time, or if the story resonates, you can check it out at
https://stevewillisauthor.com/ ,at Booktopia, or at your favourite online store. Or if youāre near Balmain, at Roaringstories bookstore.
If you enjoy it, tell me and all your friendsā¦if you donāt, just tell me ;-)
