CHED opened the application for the MERIT SCHOLARSHIP (FULL and HALF). Please read the details below for the 𝘾𝙍𝙄𝙏𝙀𝙍𝙄𝘼 of 𝑬𝑳𝑰𝑮𝑰𝑩𝑰𝑳𝑰𝑻𝒀 as per CMO 11 series of 2021.

𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑪𝑨𝑵 𝑨𝑷𝑷𝑳𝒀❓

𝘾𝙄𝙏𝙄𝙕𝙀𝙉𝙎𝙃𝙄𝙋
- Must be a Filipino citizen.

𝘼𝘾𝘼𝘿𝙀𝙈𝙄𝘾
- Must be incoming first year students who are eligible for college whose General Weighted Average (GWA) is at least 96% or its equivalent for Full Merit Program and 93% to 95% or its equivalent for Half Merit Program.

- Parents/Guardians Annual Gross Income must be of Four Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 400,000.00) and below.

- Latest Income Tax Return of parents/guardian
- Certificate of Tax Exemption from the BIR
- Certificate of Indigency from their Barangay
- Certificate / Case Study from DSWD
- Latest copy of contract or proof of income for children of OFW and seafarers.

The National Mental Health Week starts on Monday, October 10, which is also the World Mental Health Day.

The theme for this year’s observance, as announced by the Department of Health, is “Mental Health and Wellbeing for All: Promoting Mental Health in Physical and Virtual Spaces.” This month, we bring together and enjoin DepEd stakeholders to take part in ensuring the mental health and well-being of all personnel and learners both in schools and physical workspaces, and online.

The blood of our National Heroes is the same blood of bravery, selflessness, and love of country and fellowmen that continues to flow across the nation today —now permeating into the minds and hearts of many Filipinos who have committed to the cause of rebuilding the nation from the rubbles caused by disunity, hatred, misunderstanding, and acts of hostilities perpetuated by anti-people, anti-government, and local terror groups that hostaged the progress of the country for a long time.

As we look back, may we never squander the lessons of the past and instead use them to awaken all the greatest heroes inside the hearts of every Filipino, especially the youth.

Note: All qualified beneficiaries must serve atleast 2 hours of Brigada Service at RDCES and MNHS on August 19, 2022. Representative is allowed. Secure any proof of attendance to be presented during the distribution.

Please register to be included on the list of examinees by visiting the GCTC DORSU office from July 5, 2022, to July 18, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Please take note of the following:

A. If you have been waitlisted for SUAST, you do not need to register once again. Your names have been recorded and you will be informed of your schedule. Kindly wait for our update.

B. If you were supposed to take the SUAST last June 6–10, 2022, but did not show up, you must visit our office to register.

C. If you fail to register, you will not be accommodated during the schedule of the examination.
