What I learned about surfing is that you have to learn how not to give up — probably because I found it hard for me to stand up on my surfboard. Because of this, I learned how to celebrate every small victory!! One cannot catch waves just by watching it pass by. You have to seize the moment and take the risk. You might wake up with a sore body the next morning but it won't equate to the satisfaction of being able to stand on water and control the waves.

Is it sunrise or sunset?? I'm not quite sure HAHAHAHA. I hope you like this work!! I can't wait to go visit the beach once the pandemic is over 🏖️🌊

Ang pagsayaw ng mga alitaptap sa takipsilim.

I had fun making this because of the characters' movements and lights. I remember how the students from my primary and secondary school had to learn pandanggo sa ilaw as part of our gratitude day. I'd watch them dance this while balancing candles. I didn't think much about it then, but looking back I wish I had appreciated how we were exposed to such replication of tradition. Here's something to showcase pandanggo sa ilaw.

It's finally Valentine's month!! I'm still open for commissions 😌💖

Storytelling has always been an integral part of my childhood. My parents would read me books, sing me songs, and watch movies with me. I've always been enchanted with the idea of translating to work something out of one's pure imagination. What amazes me more is hearing about other people's past, present, and future. Oh, the power of storytelling! Through this, I've learned how to explore and to share my stories through different forms of art. Here is something that tries to encapsulate the wonder of storytelling.
