Jaide Harley

My current read and I must say, this author is fantastic at sucking you into her world. This is set in the 1920s and follows the slowest of slow burn sapphic romance between a shy girl and an entrancing witch fighting for her life after a blood spell gone wrong. I don't want to give too much away (plus I'm not quite finished yet) but the character work is 🤌 and the tension between the reluctant lovers is unmatched.

The magic is both intriguing and grotesque. The author does a fantastic job of creating vivid images that are easier to picture and lure you into the world. If you enjoy gothic, fantasy, q***r romance with a heavy plot, this one's for you.
