Take control of your happiness by setting up small habits in your day to raise your vibration.
What are mine?
1) I journal for roughly 10 min atleast 5 times per week on what I’m grateful for, my wins in my day, and things I would like to attract and change
2) I take Breathe breaks. Morning, midday and nighttime. As simple as breathing for 2-15 min (4 seconds in-6 seconds out) using my Fringe breathe tool.
3) I drink 100 oz of water everyday
4) I move everyday for a minimum of 30 minutes.
These 4 things are my non-negotiables. I feel so much better when I do these BASIC things and only take a total of an hour.

Rib Gipping can be caused by slouching, breastfeeding, being pregnant, having super tight abdominals (I see this so much in my CrossFit athletes) etc
It can lead to an inability to co-contract the deep core (diaphragm, pelvic floor, transverse abdominis, and multifidi)
Gripping can leading to diastasis recti, breathing dysfunction, digestive issues, leaking, back pain, and increase pressure down to the pelvic floor (increasing organ prolapse) etc etc and the list goes on. It can even play a role on anxiety because of how the vagus nerve traverses through the diaphragm.
Skin Rolling and abdominal fascial release are two great ways to improve rib gripping followed by breath retraining and retraining co-contraction of the deep core.
In the next 2 videos, I’ll show you how to perform skin rolling and a ball release!

Today is one of my favorite days of the year. I sort of use this day to set my new year resolutions or focus 🧘🏻♀️
The Winter Solstice
This is the darkest day of the year and the days start to get longer after today. In many traditions, it represents the celebration and coming of the light.
To celebrate and intend for the following year, I do 108 sun Salutations.
With each salutation, I focus on things I want to let go of (the dark) and then intentions (coming of the light) for the following year.
One of my favorite traditions
Gabe, the middle guy asks me “when does your belly go away after a baby”…. Lol
“Well babe, it took 41 weeks to stretch this stomach and can take the same amount of time to go back.”
You hear about the 4th trimester as if your body supposed to just bounce back in 6 weeks. 💩
It took time to build a beautiful baby and it’s going to take time to re-regulate my system to get back..no matter how healthy I was going into it.
Loving myself and the hard work I have put into the vessel.

I remember visiting the hospital when deciding where to have my baby and they told me I was a high risk pregnancy because of my “advanced maternal age” 🙄 disregarding the fact that I am healthier now than even in my twenties.
They required more visits and more restrictions. I walked right out and called a midwife and have not turned back since. Leading to an amazing home birth.
My nurse midwife has been so amazing through this entire process even following up with weekly appointments for 6 weeks post care.
She believes that this is when women need the most support. The 4th trimester is by far the most challenging but the most rewarding and you absolutely need a support team to guide you through the first few weeks.

A home birth. 🥑🐣🍼
I thought about posting the entire story but it pretty much involved me in two places in our house sleeping in front of a fire and jumping in a tub for a final push with a electric stim unit on my uterine nerves and my hubby holding my hips.
This was the most amazing experience and the toughest ultra marathon I’ve ever done. With an amazing team that really made an unmedicated birth more comfortable and doable. And brought to life my dream birth that ive visualized for months. I’m grateful for that because that’s not always the story. And I’m so proud of every mother out there! 💪🏼😍 and grateful for all of the support and strength that these mamas have given me.
If you want to have an unmediated birth, please consider a home birth with an amazing team of midwives, moms, doulas partners etc or a birthing center disconnected from a hospital.
Of course all births are beautiful and have challenges but if your curious about it, please reach out.
We are scared into thinking we can’t handle the “pain” but with the right team and tools you might find it’s more comfortable.

I’m not the type to stay still… a little trek and family date day before Atlas makes her appearance! We figured this was a great place to go into labor!
The one thing that kids and being pregnant has really taught me is that …. You are no longer in control. ❤️
They also teach you to let go of that control. You do the best you can and when they are ready then BOOM.
Same with labor. There is no “due date”
We can try to predict and guess arrivals all we want but until that baby is ready she ain’t comin’
Give up control and allow the perfect moments to unfold.

I’m lucky to have an amazing mother and mother-in-law that are beyond supportive! 🥰🥰
