Spring…watching this little nest each day and trying to stay out it the way of the mama bird.
Spring in the Mission Mountains
A little art.
Montana, Montana…my home 🎶
Settling into our new home and so very blessed to call this place home!
Spring. Settling in to my coaching role
Light and dark. Both are essential.
Moody morning in Astoria.
I was feeling SO proud of myself. I think maybe a little too proud. And then I missed a day in my goal to meditate for 365 days.
In the past, this would be the end of it, I failed, game over, but I’ve learned a lot over the past few years. It’s not all or nothing. It’s “I’m trying. So I’ll keep going and see what happens 😉
Message on my matcha latte from today. Made my day and my latte was amazing too!
Sometimes the path is clear…and sometimes you have to look carefully and intentionally to find it.
“A change is gonna come.”
~ Sam Cooke
One of my Saturdays in DC was spent at the National Museum of African American History & Culture. This is a picture of the reflection room which I sat in for a bit…reflecting on the change that is a constant in life.
If you’re navigating change and would like support…reach out.
This resonates with me…and I wanted to share.
These are the only ones that survived the slugs. Completely beautiful.
Back in WA for the last big transition to empty nesting. My son is off to WWU on Friday.
A lazy Saturday afternoon…taking a moment before I head back to Seattle to get my daughter ready for her next step. And knowing that I’ll be headed there again in a few weeks to do the same for my son.
I’m positive that there was not a chapter on launching your kids in “What to Expect When You’re Expecting?”
It’s unreal to take in the young people they have both become. I am proud and excited for their next steps…and it feels like it was just yesterday that they were taking their very first ones.
My current view. And one of my poems posted on
Love their tagline: Life gets better when you’re kind to yourself
Where can you bring a little kindness to yourself?
There have been a few changes for me in the last few months. My dad passed away, my mom had some pretty serious health concerns ( she’s doing really well now! ), my daughter just graduated from high school. And there are more times of transition on the horizon for our family as we go from the four of us under one roof, to being spread out in three different locations.
This message from my tea reminded me of all the courage it took to get to these moments. And of the mistakes I’ve made and learned from on the path to this moment in time. It has not always been easy, but I’m so grateful for all the lessons learned along the way.
Happy Friday! Make everyday THE day to be who you’re meant to be.
Last day, last few moments at
Grateful for this time - surrounded by nature, beautifully strong women and nourished by the amazing food.
Creating time and space to connect to yourself is a requirement.
You don’t need to take a big trip to do this and a little rest and recovery is always welcome.
My offering to you in this moment…close your eyes, picture yourself on this beach, take a deep breath, listen to your breath as you breathe in and as you breathe out. Hear the ocean waves move in and out with your breath.
Allow yourself to Be.
