Hi hello!
It’s been a while.
I needed time to focus and really pin down my ideas and how I want to format The Anxiety Monologues. I apologize for the delay as I was initially planning to launch in the summer.
New Plan: A new blog is launching Fall of 2021 & a podcast will follow in early 2022 👍
I can’t wait to share this adventure with you!
Lauren
Sometimes anxiety has no known trigger. It can strike at any time, no matter what. The brain is a complicated place and sometimes things get buried in there never to be seen again and other times you just have so much on your mind that you can’t pinpoint what exactly is causing the anxiety. This in itself can cause anxiety. It’s ok if you don’t know what is causing your panic attack. Don’t be too hard on yourself. When this happens to me I like to stop thinking about what is causing it and focus on breathing through it 🫁
When cheers you on 💖💃🏻

I came down to the lake for a little mindfulness break only to have a bright red fence block my view 🤣 I’m still taking it all in though because that’s what it means to be present 😌
I came across this beautiful art created by and I felt compelled to share! I’ve been have a rough couple of days and I need to keep reminding myself that there are small victories each day! Today my small victory was getting out of my pyjamas into “real clothes”. What was your small victory today?
My beautiful friend Allison gifted me Home Body by and these words leaped off the page when I read them. What a beautiful way to describe living with anxiety. Anxiety is quiet from the outside but louder than a lion on the inside.

Let’s talk FANS! I’m pretty sure I have a tower fan in each room of my house and I have 2 of these portable little ones! Fans are essential for coping through a panic attack for me. It’s something I will go into more detail about on my podcast. The cooling helps me feel grounded and in control of my body 🥶
