Three more cute bears have just gone to their forever homes. All made from the favourite clothes (including sparkly Christmas leggings) of a beloved mum and grannie.

A set of three bears for Christmas, made with the garments of a beloved and much-missed mum and grandmother.

The customer asked for all three to have a bit of sparkle from the trousers her mum always wore at Christmas.

I hope these bears evoke a little joy and some happy memories. As always, it's my privilege and pleasure to make them.

Meet the four bear brothers who are going home today. Thank you to my best customer, Mel, for her continued faith in me and my sewing.

These four were made in memory of Raymond, a beloved partner, Dad, Stepdad and Grandad.

Look closely and you'll see a big clue to his hobby! πŸ‘€πŸ”Ž

This little fella will soon be making his way to France, eventually to become a treasured companion to a brand new nephew. He's made from two of his (very excited) uncle's shirts. I didn't want to waste the two collars, so le petit ours en peluche has two.

NB: Although I use safety eyes and stuffing for my bears, as with all soft toys, children under three years old should not be left alone with them.

Here's Evie, made from a child's dance outfit and donated to Evolution Dance & Fitness for their next fundraising event.

Bookends Bears, Back in Business in Bawtry! (Oh I do love a bit of alliteration!)

These three sporty bears, created in loving memory of a keen sportsman, were made out of two footy shirts (no prizes for guessing the team) and one golf shirt.

Thank you Mel for your repeat order.❀️

I made these bears (my Slytherin triplets) a few months ago but they've been kept safe until this lovely young lady's birthday.

The smile says it all!

Thanks so much Tracey Strangeways for your order and especially for allowing me to share this beautiful photo. πŸ₯°

I haven't posted or made any bears for a while as we've moved house and been busy with all that palavar!

However here's one I made, before packing the sewing machine away, in memory of a very special little girl who certainly was the prettiest for life. πŸ’“

Wherever your allegiances lie, there's a bear opportunity to be had!

Even when they're very similar, they're not quite the same.☺️
All unique and individual.

Made for a very special Dad, from his daughter's poncho and slanket.

I've just finished these two very smart gentlemen bears, made from the t-shirts and felt scarf of a beloved brother.

As I've mentioned before, I consider it to be an honour to be trusted with any pre-loved garment. πŸ₯°

Here's my latest keepsake commission: a lovely way to treasure a child's old school uniform.

I am acutely aware of how privileged I am to be entrusted with the precious garments of a loved one. It is a responsibility that I don't take lightly and I am grateful to all of my customers so far for putting their faith in me.πŸ₯°

This smart bear has a choice of different snazzy looks.

He's the third order from a Shropshire lass, now living in God's Own County, made from her Grandad's clothes. I am so grateful to her for her custom.

Two treasured cardigans belonging to a young lady's much loved and missed Granny have now become my latest creation.

I love making a choice of neckwear. Here I used the knitted frill of one cardigan to make a shawl for Granny Bear.

Notice how the garments' original buttons and labels have been added for an extra special touch.

Another bear with a collar and a choice of neck wear!

I made this little chap for a friend to give to his grandson. He will sit in the baby's bedroom until he's old enough to play safely.

These two handsome fellas were made from the jumper and rugby shirt of a beloved Grandad.

To make use of a knitted garment, I have to stabilise with a backing material or the knitting would unravel. But it's all part of the fun and adds to the unique quality of each bear I make.

I try to use as much of the original garment as I can, including logos and labels, to give the bear an extra personal touch in memory of the loved one.

You can be sure that when you collect your memory bear, there is not another like it in the whole world.

Made for a local lady, using a shirt that belonged to her beloved Dad, this lucky teddy has a choice of wearing his detachable collar or his shiny ribbon bow tie. I've even made use of the shirt button placket and the shirt label.

It's not too late to order for Mother's Day. This is one I made for my Mum, to match her bedroom curtains.

The Slytherin Siblings - each one unique.

My daughter didn't want her Harry Potter Slytherin blanket any more. So I turned it into a bear and dedicated it to my dear departed fantasy husband, Alan Rickman, aka Professor Snape.

I have enough material to make two more if anybody wants one. They will be unique as the patterns will not be in the same places on the bear.

I look forward to hearing from Slytherin fans.

Here is a selection of the bears I've made so far. The bears usually measure around 31 cms (12 inches) from seated position to the top of the head.

I use the Memory Bear pattern from Funky Friends Factory https://www.funkyfriendsfactory.com/

They are all filled with toy stuffing which conforms to BS5852, EN71. The eyes are safety eyes from Hobbycraft. Although all my bears are strongly sewn and safe for children (supervised if under 3 years old) they are really made to be keepsakes rather than toys.

Hi, Catherine here. I began making these adorable bears for friends and family last year. Now I am starting to sell them. If you'd like to buy one from my stock, or if you'd like to order a bespoke bear made from your own materials, please get in touch. I'd love to hear from you.
