Growing up, I always yearned for a younger sister. It wasn’t until the birth of these two beautiful souls that this void was filled. I was not only blessed with one sister but two. Aathana completes my world as she also takes on a role of a daughter in my life. Archana reminds me of the powerfulness of sisterhood and that the combination of two is always better than one (). My babies are a constant reminder of the goodness in this world. Reflecting on my journey on this planet, I am not only grateful for my babies, but all the relationships that I have been blessed with in my life. On that note, I want to send you my love and a reminder to cherish all the relationships that you have gained in your life but also to reflect on the ones that you have lost.

Happy Valentines Day! Hope you all love fully, and laugh often!

Nanthi Rajah Atputarajah Kandasamy

Upon watching the movie, Mukuthi Amman, I felt as if I were called upon by her to take on this song and create with it. As a bharathanatyam dancer, I could have taken this dance up and just performed a cover for it. But, I believed that I had to do more; I envisioned to create beauty from it. I wanted to not only choreograph and dance for this song, but I also dreamt of capturing the performance myself. I knew that if I were to ask someone else to capture this moment, I wouldn’t achieve every little aspect that I wanted covered in the shots. I definitely couldn't do both things at once. So, I had to give up one and make a decision. I told my plan and vision to my cousin, and she was willing to dance for this song. And with that, I was able to choreograph and teach the performance to her, while I captured every moment the way I wanted to. I feel like I have answered my calling. I am no expert in videography, and I have so much to learn, but I felt like Mukkuthi Amman guided me throughout the whole process. I hope I did justice to this soulful song.

A special shoutout to Vimal uncle (Analai Express ) for helping me in making my vision come true. I told him my plan for this video shoot and that I wanted to shoot it at Toronto Thiruchendur Murugan Temple, and without even thinking about it, he was able to help me in making all the arrangements. So, a special thank you Vimal uncle for your constant support, this would not have been possible without you. I would also like to say a special thanks to the members of Toronto Thiruchendur Murugan Temple as they were so understanding and supportive during the whole process.

With this being my first post, I hope I receive all the blessings from Mukuthi Amman.
