Thank you so much to everyone that came out and supported my band and I at our first concert at The Restoration Hall in Wichita Falls, TX! It was a great musical experience. I got to play with some of the best musicians I know (Shane Ohlson, Chris Peake, Monty Booker, and Logan Walker), and the Restoration Hall is a great venue to play. The owners, managers, and employees are great to work with, and James Ivey is an amazing sound technician!
I will be playing at Salt & Pepper this Friday and Saturday (Aug 16-17) from 6:30-9:30.

This evening I had a great gig at Tenpenny Restaurant in Leavenworth, KS. I was joined my my good friend Don Spain on guitar, and a lot of my Leavenworth friends came out. Kansas really likes jazz!
If you have checked my page in the last 18 months or so, you know that I am back on Active Duty in the Army and no longer performing regularly. I was in Houston, TX, for a year and the Army moved me to Ft. Leavenworth, KS, (right next to Kansas City) in June. As it turns out, there is a HUGE demand for Jazz in this area, and I have been fortunate enough to meet up with some individuals that have helped me have a reason to get my trumpet out and start singing and playing again! Although I am only playing a few times a month, I have decided to resurrect my page and start posting where I am playing for my new friends in the Kansas City/Leavenworth area. Stay tuned!

This evening at The Maplewood Bar in Wichita Falls and this Saturday at Terilli's are my last two public gigs as a full-time musician before I leave for Houston to go back to Active Duty in the Army.

For those of you who don't know, I served on Active Duty for 10 years in the US Army until 2009, and have been in the Army Reserves ever since.
Yesterday I received Orders from the Army to report on 1 JUNE 2015 to my new position in Houston, TX, as a part of the Active Guard Reserve (AGR), which is basically the Active Duty section of the Army Reserves. So, what this means is that as of 1 June, I will no longer be a full-time musician, but instead I will return to the ranks of being a full-time Active Duty Soldier.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last few years. Without your support, I could not have lived my dream of being a full-time musician!
