Last year, my flower garden had an unexpected guest - a stunning green European Mantis! For several weeks she was living here and I enjoyed our daily 'how you doin' rendezvous until one day, she mysteriously vanished. But luckily I captured her beauty in a series of photographs, including this extreme close-up!
