Well it may have been close to a year since I last spun records out, but I'm back behind the decks with Jack Popper for a vinyl only disco/funk set!

Sad news yesterday :(

I remember early in my disco endeavours, stumbling across Hamilton Bohannon and thinking, "this is some mind-blowing s**t" and rushing to show my sister and Kyle Palmer when they came over one night.

His tunes never fail to make me smile and will always remember playing 'Dance Dance Dance All Night' at Piu Disco and seeing people's reactions to that beastly track.

The Newnan Times-Herald, a local newspaper in Newnan, Ga., where Bohannon was born, reported the news on Saturday after speaking with several members of his family. Was an absolute delight recording a mix for Other Worlds Other Sounds.

Delving more into the quirky and weird disco that i don't usually play out, and averaging below 120bpm (this was definitely a challenge), this mix highlights the broad spectrum of what we call disco.
