As far as I can interpret it, the killing of any more civilians is committing an act of genocide and the lead in the South African legal team teaches us that indeed if they do continue to kill civilians, cut off infrastructure, stop aid etc then they are committing genocide as per definition presented by the court

Okay so far the court has ruled that Israel must prevent any acts or incitement of violence/genocide against the Palestinian people. They have one month to submit a report to the highest court in the land to provide evidence of them doing so. I am not a lawyer but as far as I'm aware if Israel continues to push terrorism and genocide the international community is required by international law to stop the terrorists in IDF from committing genocide.

This is good news but people are at risk of full blown famine nevermind those killed by bombs and I dread to think what the death toll will be in a month.

It was also ruled that Israel must allow provisions for humanitarian aid and basic human rights such as healthcare, water, electricity

So today's the day. The ICJ will give their verdict on South Africa's genocide charge against Israel for committing genocide and terror against Palestinian civilians.

Fingers crossed they support South Africa's teams frankly impeccable account of Israel's atrocities and so not side with terrorists - who have been propped up and supported by both British and American governments (these governments are liable to be charged with assisting the genocide If today's verdict upon Israel is guilty)

Mental I have to break this down...

"The unlawful use of violence" - Israel and America have used phosphorus bombs and gas on civilians, they have buried alive hospital patients, they have blown up schools, hospitals, mosques/churches and refugee camps. They have shot everything from international aid workers to press to their own unarmed civilians waving white flags. By international law this is illegal and a war crime - however Israel is not at war with a state they are at war with a people, mainly civilian.

"And intimidation" - stripping innocent doctors engineers, IT techs and everyday professions into underwear, blindfolding and humiliating them as well as above.

"Especially against civilians" - 22,000+ dead civilians including over 10,000 that also sadly includes allowing babies to die and decompose in hospitals. 60% of entire number above is women and children. Before you say the 40% that are men are not Hamas they are everyday people like me and you so don't try saying aw they are Hamas though. How many Hamas have Israel killed? Have they said? Hmmm.

"In the pursuit of political aims" - control of the canal, 80 years of oppression, systematic illegal decolonisation and displacement of almost 2 million people. (Was 700,000) before this war started. Countless quotes of wanting all of Palestine to become Israel. The 1948 Nakba genocide against Palestine. The desire for gas lines.
