Dear Small Business,
Being a small business owner is hard work, especially after the last two years with constant changes in policies and procedures. Many small businesses were not heard or represented fairly during this time. We as fellow small business owners are looking to create an Association to better represent, support and showcase the wonderful businesses here in Rocky Mountain House. Our goal is to create a group where members are fairly represented and concerns are addressed and support is available when needed. Goals for this group are as follows
⦁ Establish an assoication, members and board
⦁ Hold monthly meetings to address any issues or concerns
⦁ Have at least one member present at every Town Council Meeting
⦁ Take grievences to Town Council as a group
⦁ To give the small businesses in this community a voice and support
⦁ Create strong relationships between businesses
⦁ Apply for Grants for help in advertising members businesses
⦁ Potential opportunities for fund raising and helping with community events
